I find myself smiling non-stop watching these vids. So sweet :).
It was educational listening to you helping us ordering food in Japan. You made it fun too.
komori841 I will be doing a lot of ordering by myself, you have given me confidence to do this! Domo arigato! :-) Also, I can't believe you posted this video almost 4 years ago! I need to watch more of your helpful videos! :-)
It's the weekend so that can only mean one thing... awesome komori videos! I like the hand gesture for asking for the check. Very discreet. Thank you for the info.
Thanks for watching.(⌒・⌒)ゞ I will do another kind of know-how video !
Yes Thank you so much!! I have a Japanese exam about ordering in restaurants this week and you've really helped ^^ oh and ohayou gozaimasu from Australia!
Totally agree with you, Japan has great food. Quality is good, presentation is so attractive...👍😃. Miss eating in Japan. Will sure go again.
Thank you for putting everything in Hiragana, I can not read Kanji just yet. It's really helpful!
Thanks for refreshing my memory! I studied for 2 and a half years back in 07 but I've forgotten quite a bit. I'll have to write this down as I am visiting Tokyo again next year. :)
These videos are very helpful, thank you very much! ^^
Just what I needed. Thanks
This was very nice and so charmingly done - and thanks for the hiragana which helps immensely.
Very helpful and very informative. I hope to use these tips when I go visit Japan. Hopefully soon. :) May I also add, that your english is good and understandable and the accent is very かわいい. I wished my Japanese was as good as your english. Keep the videos coming. I'm learning a lot.
woooow I love it ..yummy food
thank you for this wonderful video! I bought a japanese phrasebook to use when I visit Tokyo in 2 weeks, and I found your video to be so easy to comprehend. So happy to have found your youtube channel, and congratulations on your pregnancy and I hope it is going well :) arigato!
Great video! All of your videos are very informative. I would like to know more about table manners, like with a casual family, with coworkers, friends, or out drinking as well! Thank you so much! :)
Hi. :) It's nice to hear that Japan is getting cooler. Here in Corpus Christi, we've been getting a decent amount of much-needed rain, and the best part of it is that it FEELS good too.
That is good for me because I worked at Japanese restaurant in Thailand. Thank for Video.
I love your smile!!!! thanx 4 the videos
ありがとうございました!本当に有用でした!
Komori-san! really helpful for me to survive in Japan. BEST of BEST LECTURE
Oh my god you are simply amazing. Subscribed
Really great video keeping it simple enough so us beginners will have the confidence to try. So many tutorials overwelm with a lot of unnessary info and Japanese
Sorry, I should speak more slowly >
When I was in Tokyo without Japanese knowledge, I used my hands to point to the food what I would like to eat in the restaurant. Worked perfectly.
thank you for posting this video, it was really informative. btw it is interesting how you have a very clear American-sounding accent when you speak English, it does not sound like Japanese-accented English at all. your pronunciation really is excellent. when your grammar is a little bit better, I think no one will be able to tell that you weren't born and raised in America
Now i am in Tokyo , Your video been a great help. :D Thanks dear
Domo arigatou gozaimashita! Great video. Because of my studying, I was actually able to read some of the kana. My studying payed off! Keep up the good work, Komori-san. *bow*
I loved the way she pronounces restaurant and every other word and so do most of her subscribers Sir Analritentivo.
very nice...good job...
THIS HELPS SO MUCH! I'm going to Tokyo next month and I've been doing some nihongo self study... But this cuts to the good stuff! Thank you
Interesting.. When you are speaking English, it sounds normal, but when you say something Japanese, it is soo cute! ^w^ Love this channel! ありがとうございます

このビデオは有用でした、ありがとう!
Sorry my pronounce sometime hard to hear ...Restaurant , I need to practice more! Anyway thanks for your time ^^
this lesson is very nice! ..i like very much how you express yourself, your face is very expressive so that is more simple for people to understand! are Japanese people so expressive? thanks!
@komori841 Indeed. I agree. I think this is why it is easier for me to learn it because I enjoy and have fun with it. Sometimes, the hard part is memorizing. But eventually, it comes naturally.
Reastulant :P Haha, i love how you pronounce restaurant :D Don`t ever change it ;)
@lissheim Happy to hear that ;D
I find its really adorable xD
Thanks for your request, let me think about it ^^
great :D
Komori, the word restaraunt is pronounced (rest-a-ront). :) thanks for the nice video. :)
You so kind. That makes u more beautiful. Thank u
Please write in romaji! It is good that you write with hiragana but if you can, write with romaji also :D And I felt you spoked to fast during the repetition segment... But otherwise this was really informative :) This is the first video of yours I have ever seen :D
In England, we call that fruit 'Sharon Fruit' :)
楽しく英語が学べます ありがとうございます
ありがとう
ありがとうございます。私は タイ人で、日本語を習っています。このビデオは とても 役に立します。
yukkuri onegaishimasu!
nice,いい
Ah here in the Netherlands we also call it kaki!
What's the difference between kaki and mikan?
"Kore to kore to kore, kudasai", yes.
@lissheim Honestly, there are some english that Japanese use as Japanese, smoking is one of the such words. So if you said, smoking, non-smoking, I believe most of Japanese can understand! The difference between ください、おねがいします、is little difficult, but ください included meaning of "Give me" so I said "give me water" , "give me a check" sounds strange, so it use "Check please" Let me summarize, おねがいします = Please, ください=Please give me ... I hope you could get it!
A video on table and chopsticks manners please? :)
love ya
Thanks for your tutorial, hope i gonna survive in Tokyo a week later. I have a question for you... How do i response if the server ask me "Do you smoke"? What i should say if i am not smoking in restaurant? Thx!!!
Thank you very much for the video! Now I won't starve when I come to Japan. :D I hope all Japanese restaurants have pictures on the menu, it seems like most of them do. :) By the way, how do you say you want to sit in the non-smoking or smoking area? And is there a big difference between ください and おねがいします?
You're welcome !! どういたしまして☆
@MavsFan1982 Good to hear that;D Hope the forest and crops get moisture;D
Very instructive but I would have liked if you could add the "pinyin" like how to pronounce the sentences using latin alphabet. Nonetheless you did a very good job. Thank you
Arigatou gozaimasu!
in Brasil is caqui too
@komori841 Oh, that just meant that we got up to two inches of rain in some areas. Either way, we actually needed the rain. :)
Kaki is delicious! It was imported long time ago by Japanese immigrants to Brazil...
Hi Komori-san, I have a question. If I order a dish and it has finished (run out), how will the waitress/waiter tell me? Will he/she use words like owarimashita or arimasen? Can you give me an example please? Feel free to reply me via personal message, I look forward to your reply, thank you!
@pedsay Thank you again!! How you could tell the KAKI is written as 柿 ?? You seem you know so much Japanese! There are saying in Japan, "if 柿 turns red, then the doctor's face turns blue" Mean, 柿 included so much nutrition that hardly catch a cold. Please try it! It's sooooo tasty ;D
@komori841 Thank you for the encouragement, Komori-san.
@NinjutsuLives Yes, listen listen, then you learn and memorize very naturally. Hang in there !
You should put the phrases in the video description
Is it Koreto Koreto Kore Kudasai? Thanks
Thanks! ^^ And Sorry for my late reply ..
Can you write out what you are saying when you say "this one"? I find it easier to follow when I also see it written.

If your talking about how they sound, it's like "kore kudasai".Roughly, kore=this and kudasai=please. If you want "this and this", the phrasing becomes "kore tou kore kudasai" hope that helps in the future!
your english is good. there are at least two problems with how you say restaurant. one is the sound of "r". i know this is very difficult for japanese speakers because you have a sound that is about halfway between english "r" and "l". this is very understandable. the other problem that you should not have trouble with is the vowel sound.
こんいちは。 You are so beautifull & smart japanese girl. These videos are very helpful. Thank you very much. Ahora que vaya a Japón no moriré de hambre, sabré como pedir la comida.
