A tip is to take your hand most of the way out it’s spot pinch the end of the zip and you’ll be able to make enough tension to zip it

I always get detached gloves, feet, mask, & a U zip, from experience putting the shoes on for me is easier if they're detached its like putting a sock on. Also with a 1970s suit design i made i found if you do your measurements slightly taller than your actual height in color fabric, you can prevent a shorter neck. Also, i found they will sew on back symbols if the file has the symbols separate from the suit, which if you find a suit design retro like that, its no extra charge for them to sew it on 👌🏼

So what you're saying is for color fabrics they will make the front and back emblems with, say black and red fabric respectively? That's a lifesaver because my color fabric suit has screenprinted logos and I'm afraid to wash it. I'm thinking of doing a 7-piece suit this year and if I could have it it color fabrics without the screenwriter emblems, that would be awesome.

Although you say that you can do this only if the pattern file already comes with the emblems separated. Hmm, now I wonder if I could get them to do it even if the emblems aren't separate in the pattern file. UPDATE: I emailed printcostume about it and they totally can at no extra cost!

I got detached gloves once… not a fan. It’s not exactly snug and keeps sliding down the sleeve. The only way it stays is if you have the glove on underneath the sleeve, but then the sleeve isn’t exactly snug either then. You would need some web shooter props to maybe secure it, but even then it’s a lot of fabric. You’d either need to cut away the excess fabric on the glove, or attach some clips onto the suit to secure things together. I’d assume the detached boots would have the same problem

Hello, I needed to ask about something, When you order there a suit with back invisible zip and with the mask detached, does this mean that the mask has a zipper too, or I have to add the mask zip box as well? So if yoy shouldn't get open eye holes for the smaller lenses because the eye hole might over lap them, then have you ever asked them in the note section to make the eye holes small and not so big if that makes sense? they should come with the civil war lenses they have, but you can always ask for specific lenses in the addition al notes section

I recently changed my lifestyle and am now comfortable with going with this kind of suit. (Was aiming for jumpsuit Deadpool before that) I actually ordered a $35 (CAD) suit off Amazon (China) to test if I like the look on me. I was actually surprised how it turned out for the price. It's a keeper. So I went back to your channel and I'll probably order a NWH suit in the next few days (I know myself, probably next hours haha). I feel like it'll be the first of many. Forearm zip, U back zip, neck zip. Since I'm "new" to this, faceshell + civil war lenses. I'll try the precut holes; I know myself, it's safer that way. Ninja shoes. Raised emblem is tempting... Maybe next time. Thanks for the code and all the great tutorials, it'll helps to get into it.

Hi there! Now the lenses from print costumes are a little dull so…let’s say there is a type of lenses from rpc or herostimes…could I put in the product code and pick which style I want? Cause I see people have the ps4 lenses and I really want those! I’m new so any insight will be very helpful!

I’ve never tried the raimi magnetic lenses, but if they offer it in magnetic form then it’ll fit the one faceshell

yes you were supposed to click you needed the file. the file is what that specific spidey suit looks like and you need it everytime. you can email them and ask if you did or not and they will either give it for free or charge you for the file

So I keep hearing that water shoes are a great removable alternative to the kung fu shoes, but the dilemma I keep having is won’t the suit material be exposed on the sole of your feet and get worn and damaged more quickly?? I’ve also seen ways to install water shoes permanently in your suit, but of course that means you can’t remove it. In terms of longevity for a suit that’d be worn mostly in outdoor settings what would probably be the smartest move for me? Great video by the way, this has been a phenomenal help! Thank you!

yes it will be exosed, only wear the costume inside. and you can add soles to a suit ive just never tried. i would get kung fu shoes, they are the best

So I really want to buy my spider man suit and I want to make sure it turns out perfect as I’m willing to put a decent bit of money into it. I want to use a pattern from scratch threads patterns. Is it possible to upload a pattern from another website? Also would it be better to get the coloured fabric version or the white fabric version as scratch threads offers both. I’m not really sure what scratch threads is, as for the pattern as long as you can get the url of the high resolution file then yes you can. And the suit I bought with colour fabric didn’t turn out correct so I’m not one to ask for advice on that

Update: I got my suit about a month after I ordered it (probably because of the emblem requests). I ended up receiving two masks: one with lenses attached and one with them unattached to go on a face-shell (and to my knowledge at no extra cost). Measurements made it a perfect fit. If I'd change anything, I'd personally add wrist zippers to use my hands freely, and a crotch zipper for...emergencies. All in all, great deal!

If you get the zippers on the legs I’d assume they’d disconnect them around the bottom of the calf, which means they’d be a bit too high up, you could maybe email them see where they make the cut and if they can change it to around the ankle?

It would definitely be a bit looser but you could always add some elastic to the opening of the suit that acts as a sling that your foot would step on sorta like a U shape from one ankle bone to the other

mask zipper is if its detached, there will be a zipper going from your neck to the top of your head, the neck is from your neck slightly down your spine. i would say youre good with nothing just mask deatched

You need a digital file with all suits

Hold on so if you get the face shell/lenses you need to select the lenses and copy the product number or no when it comes to the non custom suits and the ones ready to go

i beleive they match up the suit to the lenses, but they only have a couple options. you can add in the additional notes section which model number or name of the lenses youd like

I want my mask to be attached to the neck and the rest of the suit, but i still want to be able to take it off my face. So is it possible to have just the eye holes for the head, and then when i get a faceshell and lenses i can place them on and have it all "a single peace" attached? thanks.

if I get a suit with a detached mask and attached lenses should I ask for open eye holes too or does attached lenses automatically mean there will be open eye holes?

They should likely cut them for you, but if not you’ll have a clear outline of where to cut

Hey Pat, thanks for the really helpful video! I've been thinking about getting a spidey suit recently, but still had a few questions. 1) If you select one of their designs instead of uploading a design with the custom printing and sewing service, what's the deal with the 'order printing file' options? There's "no, i already have it" vs "yes, save $10 (+$30)". Do you need the printing file at all? or can you just say no even if you don't own a copy of the file. It's just confusing to me as it's a design from their website. 2) There's the 'extra mask' option. Do you know if it's possible to get one mask to be used with the faceshell/magnetic lenses combo and then one mask with the lenses already attached, or would they both have to be the same. Thanks for all the really helpful videos on the topic of suits!

you need the digital file everytime, either you buy theirs or suply one. youd have to email them after you made your order with the extra mask and lenses purchased, and explain you want the extra mask with lenses attached that you had in your order, and the other to be the magnetic ones

If they sell them yes, you can also make your own with some foam and magnets too

What would I do if I wanted to get a suit like the Japanese Spider-Man one where the lenses are actually a part of the mask print? I ask this because the listing for the Japanese Spider-Man suit on Gun Head Design doesn't include its printed lenses in the picture.

How do I measure my chest? Is it height, or is it around my chest? This is my first time custom ordering a suit

And right now I even finally have the sam raimi suit tasm 1 suit the stark upgrade homecoming suit and now the ultimate comics suit from ultimate spiderman or web of shadows

I forgot to add the lensen in the additional not so I sent an email after my order that I forgot to choose which lensen. Do you think they will see the email and put on the lenses that I asked for?

You said give it two weeks, but I see people saying it takes two months. I need one for Halloween asap, and I don’t know if I should order. Any tips?

Yes, but personally I’d do custom so it fits the best Of course they will, they’ll print any file you bring them

If you are paying for lenses it won’t cost more for a different pair as they are all the same price, and it’s always a smart idea to measure as it’ll give you accurate measurements

Can u choose the suit u want and not do the download file. It gives me the option to say "no i have the file already" . What i mean is can i just buy the suit without having to give them a download file?

If I did a custom printing and sewing services in zentai zone, will they still print and sew it? Even if it’s a spider-man suit design.

hips are usually larger then waist by a bit
