I've actually developed my own chakra system. I personally recognize 14 major chakras. I call the first one the genesis chakra for obvious reasons. This chakra is the earth its self. After that, there's what I call the seed chakra, which is in your legs, especially your knees. Next is the root chakra (pelvis), then the sacral chakra (stomach) then there is what I call the transitional chakra which is the diaphragm and is traditionally seen as part of the sacral chakra. Then there is the solar plexus chakra, which I split into two: the abdomen and the ribs. Next are the heart, throat, third eye and crown chakras. After that there is what i call the exodus seed chakra, which is your hands. Then there is what I call the exodus chakra, which is the atmosphere around you. I would consider the soul star chakra the meeting place between the exodus chakra and the crown chakra. My system is based off of the solar system and the anatomy, as well as Roman and greek mythology, so it's not exactly what people are used to, but it works for me. Technically, any pool of conscious energy is a chakra, though so there are probably infinite chakras within the cosmos. P.s. i know some people might find it egotistical, or somehow disrespectful to come up with a personal chakra system and giving them my own names, but understand that a rose by any other name would still be a rose.

O comum em tudo e todas... então... pq nao chakras e certos pontos de nosso corpo nos conectarem a algo fora de nós? A incorporação acontece na minha religiao e acredito que é uma relação entre os chakras. Um alinhamento da pessoa e espirito ... claro que no ritual é uma cerimonia religiosa e a incorporação tem o objetivo de "cura" " amor" ... não é algo a toa, tem dia,hora, lugar, vestimenta e respeito. O interessante que as costas de quem incorpora tem que esta livre... nao podemos estar atras da pessoa...se for um processo de cura eles usam as amaos ou galhos de arvores e passam pelas costas, bracos " varrem " pra tras...como se limpasse algo acima das costas , bracos e cabeca. É incrivel as similaridades com os rituais de outras crencas. . Por isso que digo, Amor é algo a ser cultivado, melhorado, compartilhado ...

This just revealed to me, how disconnected I was from my soul star 🌟 chakra, to the point where you even mentioned people's shallow breaths like the soul's rejection from life itself. I first experienced a habit of shallow breathing at 15 without ailments... and it's continued into my almost 20s. I really appreciated you talked about spiritual teachers who are talking about transcending this life, and "oh earth is a prison" having their soul star chakras out of alinement because something deep inside of my heart ❤ no matter how much I heard them could agree with what the were trying to teach me. I'd always ask inside of my heart "Why would a soul incarnate on earth, if it was a prison?" Anywho, I am deeply appreciative of your teachings Teal Swan. Blessings ♥& Love

i saw it crystal clear on a (not necessarily recommended) huge dose of lsd. it was a fractal structure, spinning, threedimensional and completely bright, surrounded by the usual geometric shapes, all in my inner eye/in front of my closed eyelids. it was like having a pixelated Nintendo 3ds screen right under my eyelids! i didn't associate anything in particular to one's life purpose or sth, or it being connected to some eternal soul or whatever. it just looked and felt amazing. i saw thing this after all my chakras were aligned, even though i never even heard of the term until this event

I feel like my Soul Star Chakra is doing pretty good, and I'm pretty connected with my life purpose. I do use spirituality as an escape in some ways though, so it's good to be aware of that.

Realizing how much I've tried to escape my body, escape embodiment, and overall escape leading to anxiety leading to everything that comes with that. As hard as this is to swallow, I receive it as divine truth. Thank you goddess.

I appreciate your raw authenticity so much. I love that you brought up "the choice to be physical" As someone who has spent the last 10 years hiding from my health problems I have awakened to the fact that for me their is a huge connection between the physical and non physical. I was constantly ignoring the connection between the two. Realizing recently as I practice yoga it's about the conversation with body as I go through the movements. I realize that I can communicate with my body all day long and especially when I do yoga. This connection (which is something you taught me) keeps me deeply connected and grounded to this experience now. As I learn to move slowly and intuitively through each pose I felt connected to my feminine energy. I felt and experienced and nurtured the physical pain and released it. I knew that my body had been needing this communication for so so long. For the first time yesterday in childs pose I felt a deep gratitude for being on this planet because I remembered that this was something my soul wanted to experience. Thankyou for bringing light to this I will save this and come back to this video from time to time. Yes we came here to experience life and I am not running - now embracing.

It’s shocking how much your profoundly insightful observations resonate with my intuitions about the nature of physical reality vs ultimately reality. They are one in the same.

I felt this chakra after awakening my kundalini, I felt a stream of energy going to it and the chakra as a ball of energy. In the upcoming years I felt extreme depersonalization and lost interest in the physical world, I have never been committed to this life from the first day of self consciousness so it may explained why it happen. “Real” spiritual teachers have explained to me that my job is to get involved in this life and do physical activities that involve the body, like fighting sports, because if you are creating unbalance by ignoring the physical the fastest way to fix it is to get involved in heavy physical activities.

What you said contradicts itself. If you had a Kundalini experience it should have completely grounded you and not depersonalized you. So you must have been tricked or mislead by others into believing that meditation takes you away from the body. The opposite is the case as Teal explained it herself in the video there is so much quackery going on and misinformation in the world. Also fighting sports or even taek won do or those types of tuning into fighting those energy exercises are not pro body or pro love thus they are not grounding you into the soul star chakra. I care that's why I write to you I'm not trying to be a know it all I really don't. I've been through a lot and want to share things. Breathing all the way through the torso and tuning into all facts and truth is the grounding that you need. Don't be afraid if stuff from the past comes up it will not hurt you. Instead it will reconnect you with who you are and with your inner child without resistances and without obstacles.

I know for me, sexual wholeness/expression and martial arts have long been a yearning, but I seem to be paralyzed when it comes to seeking them out. Maybe I'll see what fighting sports clubs are available at the local college ~ thanks!

Very similar story here, Kundalini Awakening leading into Samadhi. To then late feeling something stirring on the top of my head. Had no spiritual teacher, after investigation I found the Soul Star Mantram which seemed to instantly active in Energy Stream Downpour. What your saying is the EXACT opposite of what she's saying, that's funny.

It's worth mentioning that for those of us who did experience trauma as babies and so withdrew to this chakra, coming into our bodies is going to be a painful and confusing process. The trauma we avoided then will need to be processed and integrated now... and because we were non-verbal at that age it is difficult to access consciously. I found that somatic trauma therapy (Somatic Experiencing) and Teal's Completion Process book helped me work through it and start to inhabit my body for the first time. I am still working on this, I have a long ways to go still.

Somatic Experiencing is a life-changer. These practitioners are finally here in New Orleans. My trauma was as a baby, as well. But I always knew this, the event was always present in my life … there was just never a therapy modality to properly address it, until a yoga friend and Teal fan mentioned that Peter Levine Waking the Tiger book to me … another brilliant person, another brilliant therapist. Another like Teal not allowing themselves to be boxed in by paradigm. The “felt sense” of the body as the prime mover of healing … and the understanding of “implicit memory” … or what my SE Therapist calls my “baby body” … is the way through. Amazing insight, but tricky right … in how one is suddenly again in that place, but can only understand it, to try and move through it, at that same stage of development. A Somatic Therapist would know all the details of how to actuate change … how to actuate healing … better than I would. Teal has wonderful videos on this as well. Take Heart, everybody … there’s Light *Everywhere* … not just at the end of the tunnel …

Transcending physical life is a practice for some tantric Buddhist paths with the goal being the rainbow body or red vajra body attainment ,however, I agree with everything you said for one wishing to be aligned with one’s purpose and the rest. Not every person has transcendence as their spirit-soul purpose whereas some might. Another possibility is that one’s life purpose could already be achieved and they eventually find that they have been lead to transcend and this is because they are ready. Nothing can be forced as I’ve learned this lesson over and over throughout the years of my life seeking and carefully experimenting. Thank you for this excellent video that clears up the misconceptions of The Soul Star.

How did you know i needed this information right now? Been feeling this Chakra and feels like a fountain pounding down on my head. As i woke up three mornings ago, i heard a voice all me if i wanted to stay or come back as i traveled down this portal and the choice to be here happened so fast, it wasn't really me choosing, but somehow was. When i woke up in that instant, however,my body had pain all over like i had been dropped a bit harshly 😜 I've been having persisting perspective shifts randomly seeing from different eyes it feels like. It's interesting to hear Teal say if it was up to her she'd rename this chakra. By her description of the chakra and its functions, the SOUL STAR chakra might also be called THE FREE WILL chakra, or the CHOICE Chakra or maybe THE DESTINY Chakra. And maybe this chakra could even be called "Spirituality 3.0" or maybe THE INTEGRATION Chakra.

Perhaps if i had been more swiftly about my business there may have been enough time for tea (earl grey is fine anytime). Ahh well, the sun still rises as it does, both without and within, in its own timely ways. As with any similar journey there are stops along the way not worth the moment to pause or inspect but only to be *noted for what they are. Let your sun rise up and up into the highest heaven and return to its home faithfully, pausing only in the sky where appropriately necessary.

My weakness through my life has been accepting who I am and being proud of myself, allowing myself to be exposed to reality and being authentic, it started when I began being ashamed of my parents habits and social inappropriateness so I fabricated a life that I could not share with the world so my lies were the reason people could not be a part of my life effectively keeping people at arms length or even better, non existent. This exploded as a youngster as I actively sabotaged my life that I worked hard to build and loved crushing me. It was insane and looking back I wonder why, was it even me? When I think or talk about it now that I allow myself to experience my past I work on being ridiculously honest, to such an extreme level that it gave me what I wanted, to be alone. But an honest alone doesn't hurt people and maybe an honest alone will develop into someone in the future. For now I work hard on myself and my life building the foundation I spent my life building with explosives knowing the future will reset as always. I lost the ability to believe in coincidence and pass off life as a fading thing, I use to think I am the only one who will remember so who cares... I warned myself.

so everyone...be your Spirit to its maximum in its chosen physical form ..and be conciously aware you are being that...thats simply the enlightened connection

thank you teal, this was so clarifying. this chakra is just starting to become common knowledge in the spiritual collective but it is usually described in the ways you were working to break through - i.e. a door to the akashic & past life knowledge. those are experiences of the chakra -but not the significance of it - if i am understanding correctly

I love how you call out the spiritual community. These Opportunistic ego complexes give people like us a bad name. I think we need to teach people attunement in order to stop these people in their tracks. I can do this. I've thought this to people before but I'm just a nobody from rural Ireland commenting on a KZread video. I would like to branch out I think we can help each other help everyone else. I'll leave this up to an intuitive chance that you see this comment, not because I'm not willing to create this reality but because if this is not my path I don't want to ripple my subconscious mind with interference patterns that might stray me from my soul purpose. I am a philosopher and a scientist. I can explain everything through science in a way that has never been done before. Finding a way to integrate it into society on the other hand, I have the ideas the creativity and the drive but I'm alone and have been held back through tendonitis from writing it down for two years now. Even writing this message is paindful to write. Im pretty sure it's psychosomatic from needing to get what's in my mind out there. I'd like to work with you. I know for a fact I can put your haters in there place but not in a bad way in an enlightening way.
