No problem glad I could help!

I did it without taking the tire off, same way as this video. All you need is a 10mm, 27mm, and a small tool, like a trim pick.

Don't buy AutoZone or O'Reilly's sensors. They are cheap sensors. Either NAPA or Rockauto is all I buy for electrical parts.

I used a deep 1 1/16 socket. For some reason it wont catch on the sensor

I can’t get mine to fit in after I take the old one out. I can see it go in and turn and nothing won’t go in

Hi there is easier way to re place it from top dont need to remove any of the tires Just remove the conction huz between air intake filter and the throtel and then stik your hand from the back of the engine yow will see the sensor from there unplag the wair and remove and replaced the sinsor

Im doing it right now with just removing the tire off!! And you dont need anything to pick the red secure thing with my finder just pusshed from left to right and boom!!!! There you have it ....

How do you remove the engine light after replacing that sensor do I need to go to a shop for that

You can clear most codes and reset the light but rmoving the positive battery cable for about 5 minutes. But my light went out after I changed the sensor and nothing else

I just did this today, not sure what the hell the purpose of taking off the tire or the air intake hose like the top comment mentioned, I took off tire first and i couldn’t even fit myself, I took off air intake from the top and it was pointless to me it did not make job eaiser imo so I put the tire back and the air intake hose back and decided to try something else Finally I drove my car on Ramps I purchased from harbor freight, and I have photos to prove it lol and it took me a while to find the sensor I couldn’t freaking find it because it was so damn dirty I could not see the gold, needless to say I was able to get the job done just using the ramps and the socket 1 1/16 and one extensions, hope this helps

The sensor was bad on ours and we could still drive it but the check engine light was on.

Thanks, I checked today and they discovered it's an air actuator problem, but it's still not running ...

I have the same issue with mine. Did the rpm go back to normal. Mine stays at 1200 rpm never goes down.

Do not take any think off the car but the passengers front tire. Look right behind the pully and there it is. Maybe 10 min job. don't purchase it before you get it off there is two different kinds auto zone did not have it o'Reilly's had it cheaper than auto zone. I did not remove the large shield under the car.

My wife's 2016 200 just had the check engine light. AutoZone probably gave her the code but told her it needed this sensor. I never buy cheap sensors so I ordered it from Rockauto. I changed it out and light turned off. The red oil light never came on or flickered. Im guessing if that is happening its something else and could be more serious

My wifes car oil light randomly would flash and a check engine light. Was on. Swapped sensor and cleared codes have to drive a drive cycle and permanent codes will clear

I am getting this code on my car now and i am being told they have to do all possible causes before changing the sensor. Changed filter and now telling me $1600 to change oil pump. Am i being taken as a lady or can they just change the sensor and be done?

They are robbing you blind. They can easily check the pressure and the sensor.

They are robbing you. They can just change the sensor. Also can diagnose oil pump with sensor removed. Will just pour oil out of the sensor hole if the pump is good.

Did you need to drain your oil first ?

You shouldn’t bottom the sensor out when tightening , im pretty sure for all cars
