Awesome man! Short and straight to the point. I'm having P0089. I'm thinking my issue is the the low pressor fuel sensor or low pressure pump. No drivability issues. Listing the P0190 codes is helping me to eliminate the high pressure fuel rail sensors.

As a mechanic I just replaced one on a 17 duramax LP7 it's located on the front rh side rail. Just remove the inlet air tube & throttle valve. There was a discrepancy between sensor 1 & 2 took me a while to figure out there is only one sensor meaning there are 2 sensors in one. Test states key one engine off & should be no more than like 290 psi difference between the 2. It was well with in the spec. While driving I could see 3000 psi difference between the 2. There is also a bulletin about the connector. It looked good and did a drag test & felt good but I replaced the connector anyway. After which I saw around 100 psi difference between the 2. Problem solved. Oh was getting a po191

Had a problem for months, symptoms started as a slight, random and intermittent "cough" at motorway speeds. No engine light or fault codes, then it got a bit worse after a while with a random dive under hard acceleration. then I finally got the p0193. It really took about 6 months if driving to finally get a code. Ford Mondeo 2008, 2.5T

Same situation on my 04 Lincoln LS v8. Hoping replacing the sensor will do the trick cause hoses and all that seem out my wheelhouse

...fixed a hard start for me

Will there be a possibility of code not appearing but pressure sensor is bad.

I’m getting P0191 on 1AZ-FSE only after long distance drive. hesitation symptoms , check engine light come and disappear, after restart I can normally drive but just feeling low acceleration, is this pressure pump or I can still replace the fuel rail pressure sensor,

I will replace fuel rail pressure sensor first, and drive for wall , if not take to mechanic to check fuel pressure , they will tell if fuel pump, check fuel filters if it has if not have fill filter throw in trach that truck. All truck must have fuel filters, start with filter first

So the possible cause could be the fuel pump ? I am getting a code P0192 for 2016 CX5. Already replaced the fuel filter and the pressure sensor. Car can start and idle. But do have that code. Any suggestions?

Common with Fuel rail system pressure too low ( also a P0087 code) im having the same issues.. obly its throwing both P0087 and P0088..
