I wear what makes me look and feel amazing, whether it's clothes or makeup. I embrace my age and the aging process. I use a skin care line that is locally made in the city I live in Canada(without the high price tag).. I am supporting local along with a women owned business. I don't buy anything promoted on you tube channels. Why can't we embrace who we are ? Why can't we say to someone "You look amazing" instead of "you look amazing FOR YOUR AGE". For me, age is just a number.

My deep set eyes began to look sunken as I have aged! After messing around with a hundred eye makeup looks, I finally discovered false eyelashes. I wear the natural looking lashes, and they actually "pull" my eyes out and help my eyes look awake and refreshed. My real lashes are nonexistent so these little helpers are a game changer for me! ALSO, hair fibers for my thinning hair works wonders!!

One of the best ways to look older is trying too hard to look younger. I’m talking bad false eyelashes, over dyed hair, clown colored eyeshadow, etc. I’ll also add overdoing it with the chemical peels and Botox. Seriously, it makes you look like you have Parkinson’s Disease.

Great pointers Nancy! Also, don't wear dark nailpolish as it draws attention to aging hands (like dark spots and wrinkles that can occur). I read a great book a number of years ago titled, "How Not to Look Old" by Charla Krupp. I think she did a great job covering every possibility. There was something about eyeglass frames too. Worth the read!

I'm a definite fan of filling in my eyebrows. In fact, if it's a day where I want bare minimum makeup I'm sure to do my brows and lips. Speaking of which I pretty much only use glosses now. They're much kinder to my lips at my age. Lipsticks always seemed to dry out and chap me, even 30 years ago, so I now stick with light to medium shade glosses and my lips are much happier. I'm looking forward to the results of your skincare. I have a big sunspot on my right cheek and it drives me crazy. I really hope the Calecim works for you so that I might give it a try.

Great points. The hair growing everywhere you don't want has been an issue with my tair skin. Unsure of laser, I went back to electrolysis and also do what you suggest.

I agree with all these comments. I do use Laura Geller powder foundation and it's beautiful on my skin. 69 yo. Happy holidays!!

I cal my long brow hairs Andy Rooney hairs. And I either pluck or cut them. The rest of my face I use a rechargeable Flawless thing. But my peach fuzz is back in a day or two. It’s ridiculous. I use Curology. Which is tretnoin. And I have used it for over five years now. But I found some cream on Amazon for my neck. And it works great. After I put my Curology on I put that cream over it. I stopped using it every night. I have sensitive skin too. But I can tolerate it every other night. I started using Castor oil on my eyebrows and eyelashes. I’m not sure it’s working yet. I had my six year old granddaughter ask me where my eyebrows were. I thought they were looking better. But she said she couldn’t see them. That was a big blow to my ego. Aren’t kids great? I always put my moisturizer sunscreen on my neck and the backs of my hands when I’m done with my face. I don’t wear makeup. But obviously I need to. So my granddaughter can see my eyebrows. And when I do, I’m going to point my eyebrows out to her.

Hi Pamela, OMG the comments from your granddaughter made me LOL! I really appreciate you taking the time to share what is working for you. I tried Curology and found it too harsh for my skin. It also left my skin feeling very greasy even though it had dry patches. You might want to try Elemis because it's much gentler on aging skin and whatever you do, don't let your granddaughter see you without a tinted gel on those brows! 🤪

I'm going to try a couple of those products - the lancome moisturizer I've been using has been discontinued and I've wondered what on earth I was going to try now ......
