    So damn true. You didn't get fat OR thin overnight from overeating or eating properly. But I'll tell you, the feeling after a binge is brutal. Like I betrayed myself. But it's OK. Because I didn't. I just lost discipline for a moment. Just get up and take control again. Got it. Needed to hear this. Thanks.

    I have been on this fitness journey for three years I lost 82lbs, 212 now I’m 130 lean, stronger and I work out 6 times a week. 95% of the time I eat healthy And I still struggle with the problem of how to deal with a day or two of overeating. And I watched this video and I feel motivated now. Thanks

    Yes! Don't restrict foods. Just make them lower calorie or choose lower calorie options at the store. Do this and binge eating goes away.

    I know im a year late. Im so glad i ran across your video. I started 2 weeks ago my weight loss journey amd i have actually loss 7 lbs the last two weeks. This weekend i had quite of bit of sugar honestly, but i do not go over my calorie deficit regardless of the day being a cheat day. Which for me it is at least 1600 per day. I was at 303lbs and now at 296lbs. I will take any criticism from anyone because i want to lose this weight. I do weight training and cardio usually the same day 5 days a week because im in college right now. So hopefully i can make this work.

    Thank you for this. I used to be in incredible shape and had a good relationship with food. Started binging during Covid , been yo-yo dieting , not making progress in the gym. This video was so insightful, I was literally doing all the wrong things

    I’m having a Chinese meal tonight. I’m good for weeks and weeks and now and then I feel fed up with my diet. So tonight I’m treating myself. Other you tubers tell you to fast for hours or even days later. I will be back on track tomorrow. Then maybe in another month I will have another take away. I’m going to the gym tomorrow as I always go to the gym on a Sunday. You talk sense. I’m not going to beat myself up about it. Thanks for the advice. From 🇬🇧

    great video. great advice. I overate 5 days though. way too much. developed inflamed pancreas high fever chills and super high blood sugar. limiting sweets next time I have a cheat day.

    Hey Eric, I have a question ...if you unintentionally fast at the same time everyday not because you’re not hungry but because you’re just really busy at the time always, does that mess up your metabolism if the total fasted time is like 12,14 hours by the time you do eat?

    Thank you so much’ I needed to hear this I use to beat myself up horribly’ because I had something that I wouldn’t normally have 😵‍💫 now understanding to just be ME! No one’s perfect! I remember having a bag of Doritos and a ginger ale’ the very next day’ I trained’ for 2 hours straight! Beating myself up’ because of it. Thank god I know better now! It’s OK 😌

    What if I dont feel hungry for the whole next day after overeating ? Had 200 calories for dinner… not hungry. Should I eat anyway?

    Well if you’re anything like me … eating clean for three weeks and seeing the results that follow (flat stomach ) and then you have a 5- 8000 cal binge with your favorite ice cream , cookies, licorice and chips like I always do… and then for the next three weeks you have a bloated stomach with water and fat ..the way that I have found to counteract this and stay lean all the time is to have a binge every 3 to 4 weeks and then just eat watermelon for three or four days afterwards (nothing else!) that is my one way of not getting bloated after a binge.

    I was 74 kilos after 1 Year keto diet went on a cruise for 1week I ate 3 meals and didn't deprived myself after 7 days back home 80 kilos I gained 6 kilos in one week? Is it normal ?

    Most likely most of that is water weight I could I'd wager maybe 10 percent of it is true weight gain if that.

    Shouldn't dos • don't do ton of cardio after one cheat day • don't have to only eat cleanest foods just enjoy what u eat • don't do anything extra just do your normal routine caz u didn't do anything wrong just treated yourself *remember : you didn't became slim after a one day of salad so neither will gain weight*
