So I was just explaining to a friend how great Matt is and I thought of the most perfect sentence to explain him. "He's everything modern society is fighting to become."

What has helped me the most is recognizing the difference between seeking approval in others and seeking approval from myself. It was finding what me happy that helped me find myself again and subsequently, the confidence of knowing who you are and what you stand for. It can be hard sometimes when you're lonely-- to seek approval and mold to what others want to be less lonely--but this will only result in hiding who you are and you will always wonder if anyone will accept and love who you really are. Don't be afraid to be flamboyantly you!

That last part about it not being your partner's job was really on point. Well said brah.

Matt, you are inspirational! Keep doing what you're doing and I can't wait to see what you do next!

Thank you for this, this is very VERY nice to hear.

My only relationship was online and distance. We never had the chance to meet but it lasted a long time and I was happy. Now I have to face meeting people in the big scary real world. I'm finding it difficult since I have a severe physical disability and I'm in an electric wheelchair. So I can relate to the undateable feeling of this woman.

great advice Lieberman you always give solid help to people but about the video, in my humble insignificant opinion the music in the background could do with changing it up every so often, and the cut off at the end is a bit woah where did that come from so maybe like an outro slide? these are just my opinions, take em or fuck em you still make quality content 👍

Just wanted to point out that there is nothing wrong with being a cat lady, if that is what makes you happy. Also, you can have cats and a relationship if you meet the right person. My cat, Marzipan, is amazing. She loves me even when I don't love myself that much. She is pretty much my therapy animal (unofficially). So whoever wants to be with me needs to know that Marzipan and I are a package deal.

True that. I spent a year trying to convince my now-former fiancée that she was awesome. It was a full time fricking job, and painfully frustrating and self-defeating in the end, because I could never out-shout her own clamor of unworthiness. It might be briefly ego-boosting to date a needy woman, but it'll turn sour and rancid and blow up in your face. Trust me, I know. Just smell my face. Ruby Girl Lost, you can't fire me from the thankless job of being your cheerleader. I quit.

Richard Kaskiewicz Yep it happens with people I know and they are not even socially awkward, its either they never really liked anyone that much to date or do anything sexuall or they just get nervous/ back out at the last moment

Richard Kaskiewicz word of advice, if you think your not good enough or self doubt, then just improve yourself, work out, go out with friends, become a more rounded person and don't cement your likes and dislikes because sometimes things will surprise you, also over hyping something can be your worst enemy. go with the flow don't put so much pressure on yourself. I've been there bro don't worry.

I'm twenty-six and have never so much as kissed anyone ^_^ I've dated a bit though but to me, physical intimacy comes after emotional chemistry and I haven't met anyone that I've connected with on that kind of level to take that step with. To me, I pride myself on this self-awareness. It's something different from a lot of people and something that makes me a little more unique. I am ready to take that next step when I feel the moment is right (which I think my waiting has given me that confidence), so I don't stress myself out by asking "is this normal?" I do things in my own time and I'm happy with that :)

great advice as always Matt! I'm not trying to be rude or anything but i just noticed that you've added background music to your video. This is the first one that I have watched in a while so i'm not really sure when you started but I noticed something about it. The music was very calm and comforting but I couldn't help but notice that it was looped. I understand that it's done that way in all types of videos but as a suggestion, maybe look for a longer sample to loop and maybe lower the volume a little bit more. For me, I felt like it was taking away from your message by being so repetitive. Maybe i'm just being dumb for noticing something like that but I just felt like I should say something. Once again, i'm not trying to be rude or anything like that because I really do enjoy your videos but I just see it as constructive criticism and I hope you do too.

Matt, I agree with most of what you said, but saying "I love you but don't love love you" is chicken shit, is frankly wrong. Sometimes feelings change, and you fall out of love for no explainable reason and you can say if you love them but not romantically. I know because I've been in said situation.
