Great, simple, clear instructions. I bought the cameras over 1 year ago and have had it temporarily installed. I lost the instructions, so this gave me exactly what I needed.

I recently purchased the Ring stick up Cam and was overwhelmed by the amount of info included in the instructions, that didn't pertain to what I needed to know. I totally agree with all previous posts, this is a very very good video. Good thing I waited a few days to put my cameras up!

Very informative. If I could offer a suggestion, I would ask that you start with the unpackaging. It took me a while to figure out that the mounting screws were hidden inside the box. Also, removing the mounting plate took some doing. Going over both those a little more in-depth would help the mechanically disinclined (me) figure it out. Otherwise, your video was head and shoulders above what Ring provided.

Rawl plugs if it's a dry wall/stone, or a piece of wood if you have no rawl plugs, jammed into the space a rawl plug would normally go after drilling- also works well.

My Ring app does not detect or show the battery i put into my Ring stick up cam plugin 3rd Gen ? Anyone knows how to fix this ?

This is such a good vid - but I don't think it should be described as a stick up cam if you have to drill the wall

Any chance you could do another video on this? I followed your steps and now my camera is mounted to my hand.

Don't buy, the whole ring thing is garbage, poor battery life unless you want it to only record for 5 minutes per month. Subscription is very high and keeps increasing by greedy amazon . Update 18 July 2024, the camera is going off line regularly when using with Virgin media here in the UK. These systems must be garbage as so many of them are appearing on ebay.
