Thank you for the kind words!
Great tutorial Alex. I've been at the bench for 10+ years and love to find new ways to make my peg better. Recently I added a brass insert to the right hand side of my peg to hold rings while I file the interior after soldering a sizing. Tricky to get the geometry right but that keeps it interesting. Thanks for all the tips. I'll try a few on my next one. Thanks. I especially like your advice about not being precious about peg. It's a consumable, but it can be hard to find the time to make a new one.
Wow! Terrific how to video! I learned so much in like 10 minutes!!

@@lonedfx hello, our Tech Team got back to us and they said to refer back to the video at 2:54 and he mentions that he uses this area to hold his ring clamp. They also said to refer to this video to see the ring clamp that would go onto this bench pin, or one of this type. www.riogrande.com/product/hardwood-ring-clamp/113105 We hope you found this helpful! Please feel free to reach out!
Great video but it would make life easier if you Americans converted to metric. Yes I am old school Australian and understand imperial but metric is so much better. Anyway I will be modifying my bench peg to this design as it will suit how I work.

It takes a short while to craft but saves a lot of time and potential wear on joints. Seems like customizing your bench pin to your specific needs is a no brainer.
