If you keep making tutorials like this, I guarantee that people will definitely increase the number of people using Plasticity.
This way of using it looks much more interesting to me than other tutorials which focus all the time on curves and lofting them, but I have to say that the speed of the video is incredibly fast to follow you along. I, and I'm sure many others, would appreciate at least one video explaining some of the techniques you use to cut or merge stuff and maybe your reasoning for doing it that way. For example, at 5:25 you start a series of actions and I have no clue about what you're doing there and why, even playing it at x0.5 speed
This is such an excellent format ! No time wasted, and multiple options covered. Much thanks.
Very high level - aimed more at professional or the more experienced hobbyist modellers - too fast for beginners but there's other KZreadrs with beginner / semi-Advanced content out there. BIG thumbs up for this level of instructional narrated content and comments. Thank you.
Really great stuff here! I like how we start from a solid and build out from there instead of lofting a million sheets together, this is definitely a professional workflow. Keep it up!!!!
Finally Official Page make tutos 🤣
I knew I recognised that voice. Thank you Nick for trusting the community
Great tutorial! Love the way you narrated your strategic approach to using each of the commands.
Just got into this software! please more videos like this!
Great work, Alexei Kolb! Video cuts right to the chase and the explanations are crystal clear. Can't wait for the next drop! Cheers, mate!
I've been using plasticity for a few months now and I didn't even know you could do most of the things shown in this video. Great video, keep them coming!
Making a tutorial is very important for the tool to grow and show its potential. Platicity has really taken away my nights of sleep, when everything becomes simpler in creating hardsurface objects faster. I hope to see more hardsurface examples Thanks for the video.
Excellent outcome and initiative, but extremely fast for newcomers.
It would be helpful to see the keys you are pressing in your videos
Amazing tutorial! This series is amazing! Thank you!
Nice to see you putting out official stuff! :)
Seriously impressive sculpting skill you have there.
This is such a good resource, thank you
That's some quality content, thanks!
more advanced stuff. thank you 💙
wow it's too fast,😢 I have to hit the pause button every now and then, but the content is great。
Great tutorial please make more. ( I personally missing the section view but separated groups can help a lot)
great tutorial, thanks!
i really like this kind of hardcore speed tutorials!
Amazing tut, thanks.
Let's start with a square. No rectangle. Extrude, press r, click delete, ss, group, grab this, grab that, press t, let's learn this instead, ok, now back to this, looks good, duplicate, bolean, Alt j, press r. And there you have it.
plasticity is truly the best. For me, section views, sketch constraints and improved dimensions and annotations are missing.
Very useful tutorial is there going to more?
Quick question, im not a modeler, excuse my beginner question. If Plasticity is using destructive workflow. How do we revert back to a certain point of the progress and make changes if we receive client feedback? For example, how do we fill holes of the text that was created with boolean subtract? We would love to see more production workflow videos. Thanks in advance

This is not possible with plasticity, there is no history where you can go back and do changes afterwards.

for hole or text is pretty simple, just cancel the edge and the face will be as new you can also move holes all around, for structural changes maybe can be more tedious
Is there a way to edit blender model in Plasticity? The way you work with objects in CAD? That’d be marvelous😅

You can't import an obj into plasticity?
Hey. Not sure where to ask, but i can`t get thru activation page while opening plasticity. Purchased it a while ago and reseted my windows. Opened it succesfully few times and now stuck with that activation page, which i can`t get thru. Activation code seemed to be in a right place. I mean i can`t paste it again coz it`s already there. Unclickable. The only offer to log out, which i have 8 in total to log in, as you mentioned on a same page

the video is playing to fast, can't follow!
I'm trying to follow this, but I'm having an issue. He select a face and then press V to select the 45 degree angle face. After that, it can move diagonally, but I can only move back and forth. How can I move at a 45 degree angle? kzread.info/dash/bejne/pI2spreblbbOiM4.html 1:29
This video reminds me of when I asked my friend to teach me to play guitar, and he says, "just go like this" and plays Eric Clapton's greatest hits as fast as humanly possible. It was beautiful, but I learned nothing.
need more fast video tutorial (sarcasm)
Are you in hurry my friend? you could make this video 30 to 35 min and explain the instructions in a nicer and slower pace. thanks
This pace is far too rapid for us common users who haven't invested hundreds of hours into the app. While it may appear impressive, it's incredibly frustrating for those trying to comprehend all the technical details and instructions on how to use it. These videos should be more organized and user-friendly for entry-level individuals like myself, especially since it's the official site of the app. Unfortunately, we're unable to find anything useful across any platform, except for very basic information.

This is an intermediate-level demonstration. If you're unable to follow it, there are plenty of other basic tutorials out there as you mentioned. If you've followed those and actually learned from them, then you should be able to follow this video.

@@LeoD.J by plenty i think you mean el zilchol . While some videos covered basic concepts such as boolean operations and sketching, there was a noticeable lack of detailed discussion on more advanced topics like curves.

@meggriffin4395 El zilchol? What's that? If you're really trying to learn Plasticity (or any new software in general), you can't just stick to following KZread tutorials, that'll only slow you down. There are so many other resources, such as the official documentation, online forums, and Discord communities that will give you so much more information in addition to YT tutorials. On top of that, don't just restrict yourself to Plasticity tutorials, but also look at Fusion 360 and Moi3d. A lot of general concepts (like curves, sketches, bool operations, etc) can translate into Plasticity. This is how I learned Plasticity and I have less than 100 hrs on it but am very comfortable using it.

Slow down the vid if you have trouble following😂@@meggriffin4395
This video is a Bible
today I tried Plasticity for the first time, tried to repeat the example from the video. I was disappointed because I expected more.. there are a lot of limitations, an inconvenient interface, so many bugs, the inability to perform the simplest operations, it's so annoying.
Without fully explaining to people exactly why you are doing the things you are doing, I feel this type of video is limited in its usefulness.
on point...nailed. 💪💥🗯🔥💭❤💨🕊
