How to Model Any Objects in Blender (Quick Blender Tip 25 )

In this Blender tutorial, I will show how to model any objects in Blender. This is a popular question that I got asked very often. I believe beginners need to understand the big concept of modeling and how to divide modeling problems with proper solutions.
1. Geometry Approach
2. Sculpting

Nice video! When it comes to boolean always apply the scale (to set it back to 1.0) before using the boolean modifier! If not chances are high you will get some nasty errors!

Hi Wenbo! Which method did you use for the liquid overflow? I'm trying to replicate with no luck. Is it sculpting or fluid sim?

  • @WenboZhao

I prefer C4Ds method it does this using volume builder and its non-destructive work flow.

It's an okay method, but it leaves you with a mesh that has distortions around the cutout. If you want to stick to your method but with better a result you should remesh it with a higher density and shrinkwrap only the cylindrical form of your object back in shape.
