For those who never try Jellyfish. It is completely tasteless. It is the crispy and chewy texture that makes it good. It is all about the seasoning. The Chinese way to make it is, soak it in cold water for a day, use 80C water to cook it for 15-30 sec, cut to thin piece and season with salt, green onion, sesame oil, a little white pepper and muster if you like it hot.

Yeah, I tried it once just to say I did, and I never knew anything could be crunchy and chewy at the same time. I personally found it not pleasant.

the body (bell) and foot - actually the head of the jellyfish are edible. But the foot is more crunchy than the head.
