Great video! It shows perfect how to use the different types of gun. I have a question about the FOM550 mini gun. Does the jar that contains the flakes need to be to be filled up to at least 75% to use it?

Have you ever had a situation where you can use the flake king do cover a panel but not a full solid coat so you still see the base coat?

What was the specs on the gun you used to spray the binder? Also, does the binder need to be thinned if spraying through a gun (mini gun) or just if sprayed through a airbrush?

What size flake are you using for this demonstration looks great. thank you for the help

Regarding the 3 different nozzle sizes: Do the large flakes only fit through the large nozzle? Will small flakes come out unevenly when e.g. using the medium nozzle? thank you

or maybe the different nozzle sizes just give you a wider or more narrow spraying pattern?

Hi, can I use the fk50 with any other thinner for use with my airbrush? Or do I need to use the fk55? If so when will your store restock the supply for it? Thanks in advance

I would only use FK55. Should be on our shop.

Simon - If you can't get the binder (I live in Alaska so shipping is an issue) can you use Transparent base from the Createx line of anything else with good success?

You may have inadvertently hit a nerve with that question. Even as I read it, I was still thinking, “wtf? Wasnt he JUST slinging Createx and telling us how THAT was the best? IPT - I have or have seen others have success with createx scenix SSR Clear, 4030, and 4050 as well as HOK SG-100 if you paint solvent based. I know people who say you can even shoot it on to a 2k final clear and then clear over it again!

This is great, but how come none of the gold flakes are available in the 0.40 size...?

Where can I get the car shaped paint chips I’ve seen you use in multiple videos? Whole love to see how a color is going to look on something that’s close to the same shape before I put it down on a model car

Andrew you can do either. Shooting the clear first then sanding and shooting the candy after will give you a smoother looking finish.

Is it possible to use 4050 for adhesion of the flakes and also to bury them in?

Hi Green Machine.Whilst the 4050 is ideal as a flake carrier/binder it would take a 2K clear to bury the flake.
