HOW TO: MEN'S BOX BRAIDS on TYPE 4 NATURAL HAIR
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Hey Y'all! Check out how I do Devin's individual, box braids on his type 4, natural hair. This is a super simple, protective style done on clean, blown out, that we do every 2 weeks. You can add beads to the ends and achieve various styles with these braids. Let us know if you want to see how we style his braids.

i just came across this video (Im late AF) and I'm kinda drunk but this needs to be said. Can we take moment to recognize how much black women be holdin us down? Even when we don't deserve it. The amount of talent, skill, and precision it takes to navigate black hair is nothing short of incredible. Dope video

Finally a video that explains what they’re doing step by step. Thank you!
I need a stylist like you for real. I like the way you handle your business
Your a life saver! I used to do my son's hair when he was younger. Then when he was around 17 he started going to the salon to get it done and I was so happy because I didn't enjoy doing it because it would take me ages plus my hands/fingers would hurt! He then would get girls that he knew who could do hair and they'd do it for him. For what ever reason, he doesn't want to go to them and has now asked me to do it for him 😂. Now I have to go back to my hands and fingers hurting! I was looking for quick and easy styles I could do because previously it would take me 4-5 hours or even more...I didn't have any styles in my head then and he wasn't fussy but now it has to look good 😊. Coming across your channel has helped me now I feel I can do it and it will be over quicker lol the funny thing is is I have curly long ish hair and I twist or braid mine all the time lol. Thanks for sharing. 😘👋🏻
I can fully appreciate how you explain what products you are using, as well as the whole process and why your doing that way. Great tutorial!
My 14yro asked me for plats, I’m not 100% confident in my skills and since he’s a star basketball player he says he must look good🤦🏽♀️so as the loving mother that I am I went looking for ideas and came across you. This helped me so much and I will be doing this very style on him. ❤️
Adorable young couple! Family style personal care. Beautiful.

Great video. Shout out to all the black men taking advantage of the pandemic by experimenting with longer hairstyles. I've been growing since April I probably can get this done in December-ish. My hair is maybe 6-7in fully extended. DRINK WATER if you want good growth. I do like 160 fl oz per day.

Very helpful, I'm trying to learn how to do my boys' hair. They want it braided. I thought I got out of doing hair by having two boys!
I love the fact that you love your husband's natural hair.. lots of women nowadays feel as if braids on grown men are an immature hairstyle and I couldn't disagree more.. these turned out great and fit him really well.. I'm curious to know how long he's been growing his hair? Thank you in advance..

I love hair on men, i actually prefer these types of styles instead of haircuts. They're bringing back the braids with the beads now but if you braid your own hair without weave and put beads on your hair they say its looks childish. Who is setting these standards and why are people buying into them?
@nerdbamarich2063
4 жыл бұрын
@@thedevotedmuslimah glad to know there are still women out there who can appreciate a man with natural hair.. I'm not really sure who is setting those standards but you know once something catches on to social media others like to regurgitate it instead of thinking for themselves. I think it's foolish to only think that a man only looks professional if he has a low haircut.. that's just my opinion on the matter though..

I'm in support of boys and men growing their hair out and enjoying it, never had a problem with it, but when I see my brother's having problems with their hair thinning (praying it's not baldness because they're definitely not at that age ) I think it's awful to make black men keep their hair cropped all the years that they have it full and growing when they could lose it when they get older.
THIS IS PERFECT😭😭😭
This really helps me
My hair is so long rn and she good at this I need her to braid my hair like dat

It's too keep the braids from unraveling, but I don't think his hair type needs it, but I guess the rubber bands make it extra sure that the braids don't unravel
