Assalam alaikum. Recite each verse 25 times , then refer to tafseer of the verse and then repeat the verse 33 times. The more you repeat the more fluent you'll become. And try to recite what you have learnt in the sunnah prayers as much as you can.

Vaalaikum assalam I try to learn but, after I take another surah and learn it when in it (in ayats of new surah) come similar words e Which is same with another surah I do some mistakes else I add one to another while learning I will do such mistakes how can I learn it best I have another question ❓ Are there have any special requests while learning Qur'an? i learnt surah Mulk (without the intention of learning it). My memory is not very good, i used to read it, listen to it and it became a habit of mine, eventually I realized that I've memorized it by both listening and reciting, it took me 5 months which is quite long😂 but was worth it❣️

It's took me 1 year to memorize Al mulk Alhmaudilah it was almighty help Use to forgot what I memorize in morning when I open it in night it was like a new verse for me it took almost a years to memorize 30 verse but now Alhamdulillah

Yes that's true and it also depends on length of qyyah So you can add up by reciting more than 3 ... but don't forget to be always ready to challenge your brain.. when you do that, the brain adapts to the nature of memorizing in short time and you'll find yourself almost memorising after just 1 recitation

@Faozan757 i always memorize quran half on 30 minutes and the other half on the other 30 minutes. After that I will combine them both and recite the quran for an hour

And you are recommended to write your memorization or read it 10 times after memoring to not forget it.

That depends on the type memorization sense you posses, some needs the meaning for their memorization to last, and other may require listening and others needs to write them down... I'll make a comprehensive video on this aspect

I’m a 32 year old non-Arabic speaker. I’m really slow in memorizing the Quran due to the similar wordings. For example, one verse started with “Qul hua” and then the next one also started with “Qul hua”. When memorizing them the first time, it’s fine but after like 2-3 days, I’m like kinda confused which”Qul hua” comes first. Any tips for that?

Look at the translations of what you recite. Qul means: "Say" and huwa means "He". These words are used alot so the important thing is to know what the meaning of the words you are saying are. In surah ikhlas you are saying Allah is the only one, the sustainer of all, not birthed nor will he give birth, and nobody can replace him. Qul hua Allahu Ahad, Allahu Samad, Lam yaled wa Lam yulad, wa Lam yaku Lahu kufuwan Ahad. The important thing is to see the meanings so you know what you are saying then you can attach the arabic words together.

Waleikum salam akhi thanks for joinging the channel. Brother i want you to know that the quran memorization is a never ending journey, once you know this you won't find it hard to re-memorize forgotten surahs and verses. Try to make time for it. Take it little by little to not get exhausted and most importantly always have the intention of memorising it fully as you work towards it, perhaps if we die before accomplishing our goal Allah may raise us on the day of judgement as huffadh of the quran. Barakallahu feek ya akhi

Ahh that's right my brother It all comes down to one thing, first step to memorization is perfecting how to read Arabic, that's the major step before you even start memorising Or you can do both together by learning to perfect your recitation, and memorize as well

The short term memory is good but the long term memory extremely poor hardly retains what's the solution

If you want it in your long term memory use spaced repetition. After you memorize the page revise it the next day then 3 days after that then after 7 days then 15 days it will stick in your memory really good in shaa Allah

Increase the quantity of the portion that you recite to your teacher in dhor/Manzil. You will need to cut down on your new lessons and focus on what you have already memorized. The lessons that you have learned a week ago, review it frequently for another week and recite to someone

But to repeat? I mean speed of repeating slow or fast

Memorizing is pretty useless. Job 17:4 "You have closed their minds to understanding; therefore you will not let them triumph."
