Good information. Gasoline was not covered. Is Non-ethenyl better for lawn mowers? Which octane of gas preferred. when changing oil, is the 4-stroke mower oil preferred over regular engine oil? Look forward to your thoughts.

Hello, it's always best to check the manufacturers recommendations when dealing with equipment. Normally, using regular gas will be fine in your mowers, and 4 cycle oil (10W30) can be used in small engines. 2-cycle oil is the oil that needs to be mixed with gas for like your blowers or weed eater. Hope this helps 🙏🏾

When you're fertilizing your lawn, you're putting down a certain amount of fertilizer per 1,000 sqft. The example that I was giving in the video was .25lbs per 1,000 sqft, which is a low amount of fertilizer. Obviously, you can put down more, but I just explained how much .25lbs is and what it looks like. I go more in-depth at the 5:50 and 7:20 mark of the video about this.

Is this app on amdroid? I tried looking it up and i couldn't find it

This is just more marketing nonsense from a fertilizer company. No soil is the same so there is no way to know how much to apply to a lawn (or garden) without knowing the mineral contend of your soil. The only way to know how much fertilizer to apply is to first have the soil tested.The test results will tell you how much to apply.

The thing where people get confused is if a soil test tells you to apply 2lbs per 1,000 sqft of a particular fertilizer, people don't know how to measure it. In THIS video, I'm showing you how to measure your fertilizer by using an app and by using a bucket with a scale. Every homeowner isn't going to get a soil test, so my hope is for them to at least know how much they are putting down vs. just dumping their fertilizer in their spreader and spreading it on their lawn. This app and my instructions help with that. I hope this response clears up any confusion from your end.

@@PoloFieldsLawnService It is a good video and you clearly explain how to measure the fertilizer per sq. foot. My point is that without a soil test there is no way to know how much fertilizer to use. Lawn fertilizers are extremely high in nitrogen because nitrogen is extremely unstable and levels can easily and quickly change. Synthetic fertilizers do nothing to improve the soil food web. I use alfalfa pellets which have a low NPK ration but it improves the soil. The millions of tons of synthetic fertilizers that get dumped on lawns and farmlands each year is destroying our waterways because of high nitrate levels. These salt compounds have ruined the farm lands across this country. The green grass becomes dependent on synthetic chemicals to stay green. If you stop using the synthetic fertilizers the lawn will look like a desert. I recommend that people use organic fertilizers. It is a slow process to rebuild soil but to me it is worth it in the long run.
