Hello, I personally like to wash my shirts either by machine or hand using a fabric softener. Then I like to air dry them because some fibers can get damage by the heat from the dryer. Light starch and a good press with the iron. May be you are using low setting that may also work with the dryer?

I’ve seen a few videos on this. Fingers vary from one to two behind the tape measure. Is there a definitive answer?

I think it varies from tailor to tailor, when it comes to buying off the rack I'd typically say two fingers is best

Do you guys in the UK hang your clothes to air dry? Or generally in the dryer? I'd love to have a bespoke shirt, I just worry that if I put it in the dryer it will shrink. Maybe it's just me, but I LOVE how soft the shirts feel when they come out of the dryer!

Good advice but spoiled by background music being so loud that it is not in the background, but the foreground, and in competition with the speaking. It's silly to make the music so loud that it makes it harder to understand the important information! I did not choose the video for its (irritating) music but for the information.
