If u haven't learned em by now, try literally scooping on the coping or doing your best to do that. Personally it's good to try and drop in an extension side of a mini ramp and hit the non extension side since u naturally need more speed.
awesome, short yet in-depth-as-advertised tutorial from a guy who really seems to know what he’s talking about. thanks! imma try it later today!
This helped me understand how to get out of it so much better! Can't wait to give this one some practice. Thank you!
Thanks for this! Just learned Smith’s yesterday and my rock to fakie is very comfortable so I think I’m ready to take this to the park! Major goal trick to accomplish

@@lostinsotchi I think you'd struggle to do most of these tricks with the shape of boards from 30 years ago ))) though I think a Tony Hawk board might have made them possible.
Man all of your videos are excellent. I live watching them. Keep doin what your doin.
Yes! Thank you! I definitely needed this
you make it look so easy. it looks scary. specially the coming fakie part. thanks for the tip. may be one day.
Thankyou! I have been grabbing my board when getting out for a year and now I have some good advice to help, Thank you so much!
Love the break downs you give. I can never put my back foot on again, always step one foot off. Same for any blunt back in tricks.
Everything I needed to know in 3min! Awesome video and thanks for the tips!!
Thanks again! Blunt fakie it’s very mental, i was scared about the drop off, but step by step, my first today! Helpful vidéo (again) Thanks! See you next Time!
No.1 blunt fakie trick tip✨ great vid!!
this is the trick I'm gonna learn this week! Thanks Chad
Something I found helped a lot was putting my feet across the whole board even having my toes stick off the board a little if you keep chicken footing try it it might help and make sure to constantly do the trick after you learn it and get back up and keep trying if you get hurt
That was great mate. Thanks. Well explained. Would love it if you could do more slow motion examples as well!
Ur vids are one of the bests dude, thanks for all that. 🙏
Love your tutorials
Just got it today! Thank you man
real helpful man, thanks
You seem like a really cool dude, thanks for the tips and i'll defo be trying this trick!
this is a great tutorial!
Very good explanation, thanks!! I’m ready to try it out

Thanks so helpful
I just want to say. I love your video.
Great tips.
5 months of trying and I have it, thanks chad
Thanks 👍👍🔥
Awesome tutorial
HEY CHAD! i really like your vids. I wish you went into more detail about popping back in, i struggle on that the most. Because its not a traditional ollie where you slide your foot up the board, its like a pressure ollie of some sort. Anyways, keep up the vids man.
Dope vid!
I liked the half cab blunt 180 out. Half cab blunt backside flip would be sick!
Well done!
I gotta try that one foot thing
Thanks bro i really wanna try this
imma try this today!
delightful dude :) cheers
Hell yes.
Thanks vince Vaughn
Just learned how to grab in, time to learn the pop
It's a LOT easier to learn on a ramp with no lip on it like that, if you have the option of learning on a ramp like that instead of a quarterpipe with a rail on it then I highly recommend it
Yes!!
THANK YOUUU
Learned these the other day but I grab to go into fakie
Very good video man. I was trying this trick out earlier and I kept slipping out. I used my hands as the feet to see where it had to lock in at and noticed how steep that angel was. I laughed and was like ohh nahhh. Hahahaha Def gonna have to practice it Blunt to Rock to fakie
Another one to do is feeble to fakie. That'll help you get comfortable with the fakie manual into the ramp, OR pivot fakie.
absolute chad
thank youuu man,you great

how about on a slightly bigger ramp like the one in the video that you arent skating? same approach? thats how the mini ramp is at my park, and its super hard for me to lock in the blunt. usually the board keeps going forward and I fall backwards into the ramp. doesnt hurt just super sketchy falling backwards like that lol
I’ve been wanting to learn this trick at mastic parks little quarter pipe, just to scared, I’m more of a stair, drops, gaps person, but transition looks too fun! I’ll use the tips that you talked about in the video, thanks a lot!!!
i've been trying this trick for like a year on and off and im up to the one foot thing, rock sounds not that bad. good tutorial! always scared of smashing my face into the coping

Just pop a couple into rock to fakie, that way you're popping, but not as much so
Back side flip on the mini and or back 180
Hi chad. So I landed blunt rocks but I really want to land blunt to fakies. I am able to land them with one foot but I can’t commit with both. I would appreciate your help
What if the ramp is super mellow and you cant get that pop out
Thanks son makes sense now
thanks chad

No problem Bry!
I took his one foot advice but it wasnt my shins it was my ankle that got board stab then purple and blue. So for now i blunt rock to fakie cause the speed is intense coming in just fakie
Mannnn, these kids are bad ass
For some of you if you can't get this trick like myself learn to ride switch first popping out and nOllie is so much easier That's really a lot less scarier getting into it.
Tried this one last week and took a really nasty slam after a couple of tries. First couple of tries I almost landed it but then I slipped when I tried to get in and hit my ribs on coping. After that I was really scared to get in again and couldn't do it anymore.
What do you think of learning them by nose grabbing in
Cheeers!
went out and was killing it getting in and out of the blunt, was using a nose grab to ease the pop out, got absolutely destroyed when i committed and landed back fakie and shot out
0:48 dude really said “sit up there for a couple of MINUTES”
I’m trying these at the moment. Tricky little buggers. How about a tail block to fakie for your next trick? Ben raybourne, Peter Hewitt and Neil Blender do them.
Thanks tom hardy
At my local indoor skatepark they have a long rope hanging from the roof above the half pipe that if you want to learn a new trick but you are scared to fall you hold onto the rope and then if you try a trick you hold onto the rope so that if you fall you don't gut the ground
I got the blunt section nearly first try but can pop out
dope tutorials chad. theres nothing too good on the web for tailstall reverts... much apprechiation
the woze tag
I'm solid at blunt judo to fakie and now I'm working on blunt finger flip fakie and I still never learned how to pop out of blunt.

Fun:)
I would think blunt to backside ollie would be easier, I find rocknrolls so much easier that rock fakies. Maybe that's coz I love skating kerbs, I try to visualise every lip as a kerb. it helps a lot
I can easily blunt rock to fakie with a kinda good pop doing them for months but still scared of doing them to fakie I just got one question do you rly try to lean back once u popped out or does it just like happen?
@Rufusdos
Жыл бұрын
You've probably got them already by now, but if not, I'd underline that this is a totally "inside the ramp" trick. At no point should you be vertically above the platform when you blunt fakie. Hope that helps and you've landed it!
👏👏👏
Yoooo that’s my local park
whats a good way to practice popping back in
@ChadCaruso
6 жыл бұрын
You can practice blunt into a rock fakie, if that’s to scary then practice on a curb, popping into a board stall to get the feel of it. Another way is to try a blunt nosegrab, your having trouble popping out it can help you start to get used to coming back in without the technical difficulty of popping out
Sweet bro! Dang that cold and overcast, then the random bright sun. Lol I remember NY weather.

Practice a few ollies to fakie as high as you can, landing on the back wheels. Helped me. You've probably got it by now.

Why would you need to watch your shins? Unless you don’t wear shin guards, or in your case no pads at all.
