How to manually open an Infinity 4000 Pool Cover with a socket wrench

Our Pool Cover Specialists Infinity 4000 pool cover would not open via the key switch -- but we still wanted to swim! The solution was to manually open the cover with a socket wrench.

We had a dead pool cover motor. Using socket clockwise opens our pool cover. Pool company said to pull ropes to close pool cover (but at that point we just used our backup solar blanket to cover the pool)
Well I'm the idiot of the year... I did it with it connected to the motor...

@@JeremyReger watch that ph level, also what you mentioned can also need a brake adjustment! always see where the both shafts meet are turning at the same time???

@@Hi-Tech-Ray I added sacrificial anodes.. it's a salt water pool so it's bad for corrosion. But the anodes are working great

@@JeremyReger Also both side plates (mounts) both motor and non motor ends have to be bonded (grounded) like your ladder cups as the polymer box isn’t grounded! I know in NY State it is required by code.
