Well, I tried to tune up my trolling motor yesterday. I made the mistake of taking out the bolts, (it was at that moment I knew I had F'd up) now I cant get it back together. lol It was an old beat up trolling motor anyway..

Ohh I'm sorry to hear that man..... That sucks! Look that trolling motor up on Google n see if theres any info on a full rebuild for it or a manual for it u can download to put it back together.... Good luck man!

Man just go to Walmart, take the sticker price tag off of an ozark rod holder ($5), and put it over the barcode on the trolling motor. Go to self check and be on your way. PS.. do this like 15 minutes before they close. They don’t give a shit. They ready to go home.

If it doesnt change then it is maxed out already..... this video was just for maintenance n upkeep every year to make sure it's working its full potential..... most times when u need to do this n it makes a difference its because it was working harder then normal and alot of weeds or fishing line got in the motor causing resistance witch will slow the motor down.... so I just check every year to make sure it's all clean of old fishing line or whatnot and make sure it's working at it's best.....

is it necessary while aghast, to keep cigarette in one hand ?

It helps keep balance.

Nah, this is BS, the bolts are tightened in a twisted position, if you are lucky they pull the whole thing back to the designed position, if not, the bearings are skewed, o-rings maybe out of alignment, no, no, nope. You should have measure RPM before and after the 'tuning'.

I already adjusted it before the video then showed it again for the video so ya I put it back in the same spot it was in, it's good to check every year so u know its working it's full potential But thank u for ur input
