thanks for sharing dude...I detail cars but never listen to the haters..an improvement is to add 1/2 capful of ONR(waterless wash-Polymer rich) to your solution.

Ive been doing somrthing similar, I get Meguairs ultimate wax, the liquid wax, then in my spray bottle i do a small glob of that and fill with distilled water, a splash of iso alc too if im feeling lucky, then shake shake,.. it doesnt completly dilute obviously, but it mixes enough that it works pretty good as detailer, spray wax in between deep cleans

This works for washing in hot or cold days you clean panel by panel but I use another spray bottle with water to rinse of the soap then dry.

Attempted with mcguiers wash and wax, the yellow one on my work van/guinea pig for everything. I was skeptical, but now I'm impressed . Very nice.

you can also try what Ive been doing which is Meg ultimate liquid wax, add a small bit to a spray bottle with distilled water and its been very good on my cars, deep shine and easy to work with since its synthethic wax

As a professional auto detailer this is NOT waterless car wash solution and if you don’t rinse that stuff off of your car it will ruin any wax or sealant coating on the vehicle as well as your clear coat. It’s not a waterless car wash solution nor a Quick Detailer. You literally made diluted car soap in a spray bottle. Waterless car wash solution and Quick Detailer both contain tons of polymers consisting of multiple chemicals. They also contain carnauba wax for shine and silicone for ease of spread and to prevent scratches and streaks on the surface of the car. By using car wash soap you are putting a substance with a slightly acidic PH level on the vehicle, and not washing it off so that the sun bakes it into the paint making it fade over time. So in essence this is really just a great way to remove wax/sealant coatings as well as receive premature clearcoat failure.

the soap i used had carnaruba wax in it i found out later that only some soaps are ok but a mass majority are not

Jake Santos soap with carnauba wax is different from plain carnauba wax. Regardless, that’s not the main chemical in neither Waterless or Quick Detailer. It’s much more complex than car wash soap and water. Otherwise it would not be $20.

it has the same exact ingredients and on a scientific level the soap is very basic which allows it to clean the surface. pre mixed with water (which is acidic) it becomes more neutral but slightly toward the basic side allowing for it to clean the surface without long term harm. the reasoning tthat bottle is $20 is all marketing not science as there were older waterless car wash methods long before this that used what i have above. it is important to know what ingredients your putting on your paint especially because i have an old bottle of meguiers that was discontinued for ruining clearcoat on black paint.

P&S Pearl shampoo can be diluted down to a WW. The problem using reg soap Is it runs off the car. A good WW sticks to the paint encapsulating the dirt.

Just use ONR 1/2 Cap full and the rest with Distilled Water or a 50/50 Ratio Using The Garry Dean Method.

Don't shakethe bottle; you will get foam that won't break down. Just invert the battle carefully a few times, to get the stuff mixed. Don't worry- your voice will get better as you get to puberty ;)

How is it going after a couple of years? Do you get any scratch or something? What kind of car shampoo works best? I´m really interested because I can´t find the rinseless wash products in my country to make cheap quick detailers. Thanks.

This is good for like a car with a light dusting of dirt, maybe a few days driving no more than a week. Once you spray the panel, and if it takes more than one wipe of the microfiber to ger the dirt off then its too dirty

This isn't anything more than an emergency situation solution. Car shampoo needs to be rinsed or it will leave sticky residue that will be a grime magnet. No bad juju your way. But the solutions are very different. Your towel is also way to thin to do this with. You need at least a 400gsm for this type of thing. At least.

Oh boy. I can't even begin to tell you what you are doing that is wrong. Traditional soaps do not have the same technology behind them to sum it up. Also look into a deeper pile microfiber rag to accomplish a waterless wash. ONR is very price economically tbh.
