you can buy a REAL gas mask that looks WAY better than this crap for like 20 bucks on amazon or ebay.

Large pelletized charcoal is used for air filtration. Might be a better option. No dust and more efficient

Modern rouge gas mask is exactly like you want visible confusion

I would highly suggest a few layers of silk mixed between layers of the charcoal and cotton. Silk has such a tight weave that aids in small microns like corona v to not get through! Good luck and God bless!

I made a gas mask sorta like this and tested it by locking me and my friend in a small room and lighting off a smoke bomb it suprisingly worked. Not even kidding i got proff you can watch my vid if you dont beleve me

That would be cool if you could help me premote my content. What you should have done is put the filter on the screw on the cap so that you could have several filters to use if the other one fails

Personally I find that electrical tape is more effective for seal and I made mine more modular sock can put on different filters are pipes and more!

i would rather just be prepared. plus. you did not use activated charcoal so. it wont work anyways. cool design but. highly impractical. if you're that worried. you could just buy a russian GP5 or GP7 i have 2, and they are fantastic.

He's inhaling chemicals from the plastic bottle, duck tape, the spray paint.

I made myself a gas mask, except it was in a WAY bigger water bottle. I made it so I wouldn't need straps, only to slide it onto my head. I did make a vertical filter, I'll just need to get some activated charcoal to make the filter work.

I remember watchung this 2 years ago and I need it because of coronavirus,anyway my concern is the crushed charcoal, it might affect your lungs, which in terms the gas mask is basically discount asbestos gas mask

Crushed charcoal is not the same as activated charcoal.

it isn't actually effective because the charcoal should be activated charcoal and it should be small granules not fine powder

Does it make a difference what color bottle you use? I see you used green. Does that protect your eyes from flashes in any way or was it just what you had? In a situation I would want to see as well as I can.

Well it won't really help because you'll still die and go blind from the nuclear explosion. It probably a better idea to not wear the gasmask anyway. Unless it is from the Soviet Union

I know how to do this but our country don't have 2 Liter of bottle.

once I made a gas mask and I put the can vertical. also I stick the cap on the filter can and drill a hole so we can unscrew the filter and change it to another filter. and my mask has cotton wrapped with duct tape and stuck to the side touching your face. so its softer.

If you want a good gas mask get an avon s10 or a fm12 both are great gas masks and their both around $40 also make sure to use a 40mm nato filter

do not spray paint or it might where out the filter because the filter will fight against the particles in the paint so just take tape and rap the filter with it
