Easy to follow and thorough step by step tutorials do it yourself (DIY) videos to help you with your broken lawn and garden equipment including snowblowers and zero turn mowers.
I do my best to teach you how to easily diagnose problems the fastest, quickest and most efficient way with real repairs beyond just replacing a spark plug. These tips are for both the homeowner and shop owner.
Whether it be a handheld, two stroke, two cycle engine like a chainsaw, weed eater, weed wacker, string trimmer, grass trimmer, line trimmer, hedge trimmer, strimmer, brush cutter, leaf blower, or four stroke, four cycle units like a lawnmower, wood splitter, lawn tractor, zero turn mower, snowblower, pressure washer, generator or a ride on mower that needs parts installed or replaced, I’m your go-to guy.
My favorite brands of spark plugs are NGK and Champion and are the ones I recommend.
I’ve been a small engine mechanic for many decades and also run my own repair shop so my videos are loaded with tips and tricks that I have learned and want to share with you. You will also find many tool and product reviews from top brands on my channel as well.

    I actually had no luck with this type of blade. I purchased the blade set up like the one that's made here and it got some of the thatch but not a lot. When I took the blade off I noticed the line was all "bent up". I even tried a .170 thicker line. Same thing. It's like no matter how think the line it's still to "flexible" to dig deep deep in the thatch where you need to get in. I'm afraid to use bolts since it might rip up to much. I think the best option is the type that have the stiff steel wire that has spring tension.

    I did this on my mower. I used .155 string. At first I cut 7 inches strips with about 3 on both sides. 3 inches were to long and the ends ripped. I then used 5 inch strips with less than 2 inches protruding. It works as a hair comb and not a dethacher. It's a good solution for me bc I want to lift the grass up and loosen it

  • @noehmedina4705
    @noehmedina47055 ай бұрын

    So why not mention removing the blade is not necessary when having to use more weed trimmer line. 🤔Wait why not also mention how much of a pain in the ass it would with the trimmer line. Since you know it's not going to last much and it's not going to stay in place. But the main thing you didn't inform (should a individual choose to try your method) check the balance on the blade. You did ruin a new blade, made holes and the weed eater line might not weigh much. It still has weight to it. And what are the risks of a unbalanced blade? You should have used pieces of a clothes hanger instead.
