Never display where your home is, the way people operate rather play it safe than sorry. Just a subscriber who’s been watching your project since day 1. Wouldn’t want anything to happen
when I had mine, I has a fuel pump relay switch. It would not stop someone from getting inside the car, but they could not start the car and drive it away easily.
Step 1: manual swap
@juanpabloflores8179

In my country, it would be the opposite.

If you truly think a manual trans is gonna stop someone from stealing a hellcat then you’re wild , you think they give a fuck if the transmission is good? 😂

I saw a manual Hell Cat the crooks just towed it, so yea
Old school is a ground-cable lock, somewhere hidden. Also fuel cut by switch and make the program-port non functional by make wires of it on a switch (also hidden). I also saw someone had a brake-lock. It is crazy that all our cars are too easy to steal imo. Big Up!

Or gas line cut off
Move the cable and install a second one hooked to an air horn. Install the tracker inside of a modules housing.
All these ideas are perfect. I remember following a build from a magazine, " Heavy Metal " beautiful car. But it was stolen and it was never found. It was a 1 of 1. They said it must have gotten crated up and shipped to a private collector.
Those look incredibly useful. For some reason there have been a lot of FCA car thefts. Very helpful you show the places to put them too.
Bro reading off the email of the advertisement requirements. 😂
That is a awesome idea. I wanted to ask you something. I bought a 2019 Challenger has the 3.6 plus. I bought it 3 months ago only has 50,450 miles. Now only has 51,500 now. I bought it at first to just flip it an use as a down payment. I was wondering Do you have any idea what it would cost to have a hell cat motor in it. I know you have to change the trans rear end front end wiring harness. And I can email you if you like to talk about it. Like I have always said I always love the magnum.
Good video, I like the idea of relocating the nuteral cable. Is it possible to scan for the presence of that device?

It connects through the app and not Bluetooth but I might try and see
Good ideas 💡 👍
HEY! Good morning Dave!
I've always said that a hidden kill switch or relay would be the best way to keep it from getting stolen. I do like the slimline trackers for secondary use though.
6:40 Attach it to the cabin air filter. Nobody EVER gets in there😏😂

Key tracker
One thing worse than having a car stolen is having it crashed and/or burnt out by the thieves. That is happening way too often here in Australia.
One of our cars has a switch to turn the electric fuel pump off. A car I had a long time ago had an ignition kill switch on the ignition system.
you need 2 tracker, one they find(could be a dummy) and one more hidden that work. the Ebrake would slow them down cause when the pedal is to the floor it's kind of hidden so since nobody(almost) use it... the neutral thing yeah that not great they could at aleast have used the physical key to unlock like the glove box
Metal stops radio waves, so higher under dash or plastic door pillars seems better to me Under a metal plate under a seat, doesn’t seem as good Air tags are good too How about a fuel cutoff ..
But how good is the signal when it’s covered by metal.
I think in the dashboard is the perfect place because the theft will take them time to remove the dashboard and the owner will be able to catch the theft.
Looks like a very useful device. However, be careful putting it in a steel box, because the steel could prevent it from being detected. Best to put it somewhere where it's not shielded by steel.
Just ordered me 2. Looking through description. It says maximum 9 day battery.
When are those quarter windows coming in ?
Dave do you do any other work on cars besides yours? I want to procharge my 5.0 and I seen youe local 😮
If your car is stolen, Does your phone alert you immediately or what.

You can put them anywhere like intake before air filter or if you can get it in the trailing arm

Hide it in the factory tool pouch. A thief is just going to grab and go, not try to look for a GPS, take off the seat etc.

why not use an AirTag? I use an AirTag with an Elevationlabs TagVault AirTag Surface Mount. They also make a magnetic one.
