Harris Hayes You could never get a diesel to have a decent tone anyway. Would spend more in modifications and wouldn’t even sound as good as this speaker system.

Dpf+cat delete with stright pipes is the way to go with diesels (v6 or over). The people that would install this to their car are the same people that install them electronic blow off valve boxes to their 2.0 diesels that they think sounds cool but sound terrible lol

black smoke just means your tune is running rich. get a custom tune done to minimize black smoke. If you aren't running a beefy stage 3+ kit and you have black smoke, it's 100% just down to you using a bad ecu tune.@@ziyannoorani5185

I have a Kucatec Sound Booster device that I installed from another vehicle that I sold a few days ago, from which I removed it and installed it internally in a Mercedes W205, but I have the following problem: It doesn't turn on or off, I don't change profiles when I touch the cruise control switch, what do I have to do or what do I have to configure to make it work through this switch?

Thats pretty disappointing. I was hoping for a method of changing the natural sound of the exhaust not a cheaty speaker

Are these cars not 3.0tdi V6 anyway? Why not just have exhaust downpipe and remove the back boxes, natural noise and cheaper as well as potentially frreing the flow of the exhaust up a bit?

♣A because it is illegal to remove DPF and cats. Those kill the sound because all of the exhaust heat is extracted. But for idle noise boost I guess it should be possible to inject more fuel and retard the timing a bit

My cars a 3.0tdi v6, the sound you get when you remove the dpf and back boxes and put a stright pipe in is bloody incredible. Have owned my A4 b7 now for 15 years from new and she's never let me down,almost 200k on her now and still going strong💪

How does it sound driving when it's on

Hi, I have Ssanyong Rexton 2008.(Turbo diesel engine) My problem is that when I start the vehicle, its sound is smooth and soft. When I drive about 15-20kms (around 90-100km/h) engine' idle sound becomes louder and irregular. Can anyone please explain?

You've put the opening pipe into the route of the water, it will be ruined the first time going through a deeper puddle. You have to mount it a way the output channel faces to the rear of the car...

that speaker exuhust is faceing wrong way when you drive your going to have loads of bugs and water run into it.. it should be faceing the rear of car

We've done quite a few of these systems now and they do go down quite well. Not everybody's taste but for those that want it they are always happy which is the main thing!

This is awesome. The amount of idiotic dumb comments is phenomenal. These dummies don’t realize that a lot of modern cars have this in their models. VW names it soundaktor and it’s in some models. The BMW i8 also has it. This way you don’t have to remove your cat and have your diesel car sound like a fkn lawnmower. Not to mention most states and countries require a yearly smog test or exhaust inspection. Diesels without cats are dumbest and selfish thing you can do
