@@nomadexpress , did you notice how close to the ceiling it was when folded away? To get it higher when deployed would require a more complicated system where it pivots out and up as it deploys. Take a look at the Sun-lite 21TH or Sun-Lite 24TH to see how their murphy bed deploys.

Nice work. Clean and not too heavy. I may add a vinyl cover that rolls up to the ceiling. It’s dusty where I plan to go. This design checks all the boxes for me. 👊🏼

Ok I see now that you used metal for the legs. Thanks and great job. You need to make these to sell because you did great work.

Id put some steel plates under the hinges that make holding bed frame easier when you put back on hinges, if the frame can be set on the steel plates in line with hinges would make doing that by urself much easier, also on that bottom bunk, you could build a fold down back on it like a sofa back that can be folded up for a sofa back, then back down for a bed mode, but youd have have a matress that folds in half.

This is a really good tutorial & I think that you've come up with really clever ideas. Another way to make figuring out where to place holes on long legs easier would be after you've measured from the edge, to drop a plumb line to try the angle & verify the hole placement.

Plumb line in a trailer? I would think a square would work better unless you know you have the trailer perfectly level front to back and side to side.
