Good man, looks like what I'm looking for. Thanks for taking the time to explain in detail how to make these types of clouds. I think they look most realist than some of the other stuff out there.

Thank you for this :) Watching the CGMatter tutorial kinda threw me off guard seeing how I needed lamps to control the color of the cloud, which made some sense but was a disaster really. This one helps get the results well.

If you work with blender sky you have to deactivate the film transparent, it give you black clouds, but, after the noise texture you can create another color ramp, and output it to emission strength and it give nice clouds again.

Select your camera go to the camera tab in increase the end clipping to something like 10000. Also go to the Eevee render tab and under the volume settings change the end clipping to 1000.

@@pinkpocketTV Quick question: are they effected by Force Fields?
@pinkpocketTV
3 жыл бұрын
Nope, if you want to create for example a smoke tornado you will have to use the Mantaflow smoke simulation branch. Force Fields only affect particles, simulations and objects that have physics applied.

@@pinkpocketTV Is there a better way because make it go far so it's part of the sky then it disappears. I increased volume to 1,000 but I don't want to do more. If I do more, I won't be able to see any other objects. Is there another way to see objects are a far distance without changing the volume? The end clipping doesn't affect it either.
Thank you so much! I have an issue, In 4:15 when I join color of colorramp to Fac of Mix Shader and volume of cloud completely disappear and nothing in visibility and then nothing else is working after this point. Can you help me on this ?
Do you have any idea why my volume object disappears, when i connect the noise texture with the color ramp?
Amazing ... What is the PC configuration ?? .. I never achieved this much rendering on my PC
i've tried very version from 2.8 to the 2.9 but the the volume isn't quite there at all. played with all the settings as well. idk what's the reason.

Hello, for some reason, my clouds came out as black, any fix for this?
the accent
Very realistic! Do you know how make my airplane collide with the clouds and accelerate them a little?
A current problem that occurs when using volumetrics in eevee is that when the camera moves the volume kind of starts flickering. Increasing samples for volume and gglobal settings doesnt help. Does anyone know a solution to this?
Amazing shit seen from your skills 👍

pinkpocketTV ok mate ty really much for the support.
Can I do this in cycles?
where is the link for environment texture?
For some reason, if I have transparent enabled in film, my clouds lose almost all the color in render. But if I disable it, then my hdri shows in the render... What do I do?
@purooshresth7809
3 жыл бұрын
In hdri settings there is option to reduce opacity of hdri make it 0. Then the hdri would cast colour as well as it won't be visible.
I was playing with the math nodes, damn this was so easyy

Does anyone know why why the clouds jitter in the render with a moving camera? I rendered a scene with a moving camera and it has a weird jitter on the clouds, but when I don’t move the camera for the animation, the clouds are normal. (Eevee)
@ROLA1014

because its being animated by a frame to frame basis? tbh I have no idea too
Wooow
When you load that environment texture at 3.18 - what is that for?
@pinkpocketTV

That's just for lighting the scene.
Great tutorial. I follow along without any issues but right around the moment I add the Color Ramp to the Noise Texture node the render disappears and doesn't return. I can't figure out why.

@tarunviegas8481

Mix up the scale in the noise node and maybe make it 1 and also the color ramp
Do you know any other way to create huge skies? Currently, I am copying and pasting the cloud fields but I wish there was an easier way. They also look very alike so is there a way to randomize the field? Thanks. BTW I found it kind of hard to understand your accent a bit but you made the tutorial very straightforward so it was fine. Thanks :D

It's really easy to do that with unreal engine! I'll make a unreal engine tutorial about that very soon!
@robinbaxter2825

You can randomize the clouds by making the noise textures 4D noise and then add a Value node to drive the W values, it acts as a random seed

Quick Question: What do I need to add in the clouds to make it move?
@FreyaZeka
2 жыл бұрын
Adding a mapping and texture coordinate before the noise texture should allow you to move them somewhat
Enviorment Texture ?
Is there a way to append this into another file? I've tried and it's just in render view it doesn't actually show any of the clouds but when in solid mode it does show the cube.

Go to the volume settings inthe render tab and there is a clipping setting increase the end clipping until you see the fog. Also select the camera and go to the camera settings and increase the camera clipping as well.

In the Volumetric settings, before you render, change your filter size to 2 pixels and change the samples to 128 or 256. That will give you high res clouds
