    Eu posso fazer isso com uma fonte contínua ou só uma alternada tipo um trafo retificado com uma ponte de diodos eu posso usar esse esquema de pois da ponte no negativo é positivo ou tenho que remover a ponte?

    Normal Guys this works fine. I have not even tested but my calculations give that result. The 16V is rms ie effective value, for alternative so maximum value is multiplied by square root of 2 ie 1.41 times 16v=22.63v, hence two times 22.63v will give about 45v which is normal (close to the 46 he has obtained).

    dave Yates That's true! I have made a circuit and added a third filter capacitor in parallel to the DC output terminals. Hooked up a 24V LED bar and saw the voltage dropping instantly, hence the 4700uF cap.

    It is typical circuit that used to works in old fashion TV screens with cathodical tube . it is something new but it is something that really works especially when the input ac signal has high frequency .

    What was the point of putting the capacitors in series? All you are achieving is halving their capacity. They are rated at 35V, plenty enough to handle any potential voltage they come under. Basically you are wasting two capacitors and making the circuit work worse.

    I seem to remember Cockcoft and Walton devised this idea to power nuclear investigation into Alpha waves. It was then used in TV having the tube as a big capacitor. The device giving upto 25 kV at low currect and costing $20. A tripler if that application. Input capaitor type allows two PSU from one source without shorting the high voltage. Be sure to check it's that type if building your own. The more sections you add the lower the current and not as a direct fraction, it's far lower.

    Yes, you can double the voltage with this method, but for each time you double the voltage, you loose half the current capability. It's things like this that bother me about your videos, you tell only have truths about a project, never taking the time to fully show the true specs. Which is why, I complain about them.

    maybe you're afraid that it's half-wave type, do not be afraid - it's not. There is 100Hz ripple at the output, not 50hz

    me parece bien, lo unico es que las capacidades que ponen, asi en serie se reducen a la mitad, entre mayor capacidad mas estabilidad, ya que es un doblador de media onda, lo ideal es minimo 6,800 a 10.000 micofaradios a 50 voltios o mas, para tener una buena reserva de corriente cuando se requiera, uso mucho ese doblador en fuentes de amplificadores de audio cuando los transformadores vienen solo con dos puntas, para obtener los voltajes positivos y negativos tomando como neutro o cero la union de los capacitores en serie y el cable del transformador y la otra punta a los diodos en serie que hacen la fuente de media onda para dos voltajes, positivo o negativo, o el doblador segun se requiera.

    I find it's less than half the current. I used it for an amplifier VAS where 8 mA was enough. I had to use a volatge regulator as ripple was high.

    con tranformador de corriente trifasica, te aconsejo un puente rectificador trifasico con 6 diodos, como si fuera un puente normal de 4 diodos, pero le pones otra serie mas en paralelo y en cada union de la serie pones una punta del transformador trifasico, obteniendo tu voltaje ya rectificado y un filtro acorde al voltaje dc que obtendras , con un factor de tolerancia bastante alto, tienes un voltaje pico de 311.12 voltios DC, a partir de los 220 voltios alternos , es preferible un condensador a 350 voltios DC minimo y al menos 470 microfaradios para factor de potencia, quedara muy estable, no se para que aplicacion quieres hacerlo, pero no se que en realidad quieres hacer, si lo que quieres es tomar una de las fases y neutro, te dara 110 ac, ejemplo, L1 neutro igual 110 ac, L1 L2 igual 220 ac, L2 l3 220 voltios ac y L3 L1 220 ac, todos contra neutro, entrega 110 ac, entonces segun lo que quieras pones un transformador de primario 110 o 220 voltios AC y el resto es igual a lo que mostraron en el circuito y el secundario el voltaje que desees doblar.

    He didn't mention the polarized caps, and their connection direction.. *Fire is looming* ! There's no disclaimer at the start of this "How to make a Voltage fire" video.. Innocent People are at risk here. but, he's from India, They don't care. He should build a WALL around that.. Make Pakistan pay for it.

    Butt no really.. itll just let the smoke out one or more of those caps because no filter or drain and no transistors.. the transformer wont catch fire because its rated for tge primary voltage and current wont increase so heating of the secondary isnt a factor.. unless mr biscuits the family dog comes by and pisses on it than should be ok.. but even ul listed shit cant take a dose of mr biscuit piss... either way this world needs population control and what better way than darwin...

    I think the voltage will be doubled too but the current will increase. There must be a maths formula for this.

    its false circuit we can increase AC voltage to 2x dc using 2 diode & 2 capacitor.2 step rectification . with real usable power you doing only 1st step

    What kind of schematic and material do I need to make a 100amper 24v storage capacitor. Can I use it as a battery in a solar system? Can it store 12 or 24 hours? How long can it store the electricity in it. I think of it as a battery in an electric bike. how come. I have a 48v 1500watt bike. need urgent answer
