I've been wanting to make one of these, and here you are, Barbara. Thank you for sharing the tutorial. 🙂♥️
I worked right along with you... big big thank you!!! It was something I have never done before! So loved zero measurements required, no fancy cutting tools, works on all kinds of paper including light paper! Small project yet, with decorating can keep my focus and expand my creativity for a day or more if I desire. Unlike regular book page pockets, the possibilities for decorating is massive. It is also very interactive once completed. This checked all the boxes for me! Highly suggest for all newbies who want to take their art journals or altered books to the next level... I truly felt I had finally leveled up AND I had everything I needed to create... for cheap to free without having to invest in anything new! I feel inspired to make several. Also plan to make a few to give as greeting cards for Birthdays, Thank you's, Valentines, etc... I have been watching tons of pocket videos, this is the first one that truly was unique. I was getting bored with the same old same old pocket making... so again, thank you so much!

Hello! Your “mistake” on the square added under the flaps makes folks notice there is something good under the flap, so you did good!

Vintage beauty! I like the way you hold things up close to the camera so your subbies can see!! Like the double pocket in the middle section. I put a small memo pad in mine.💕🐬

Thank you so much for the shout out, Barbara! And your piece is so beautiful! I had been a subbie of yours under my name, Judy Sanderson, and now I subbed as Rose Lane Vintage Designs. Thanks again, and keep on inspiring us all with your creations! Blessings! 💕

Thanks so much Judy for the inspiration for this pocket! I love it so much! I’m happy you enjoyed this video! ❤️
I like the "mistake". It gave it more texture & added to the tuxedo feel. So pretty!
Such lovely pockets. Love the neutral color palette.
Lovely, Barbara, as always
Love all the pockets, might be nice to send out in happy mail too... Lovely 😊😊🧡💜💛
Stunning !!!!
I love this idea!!! It's a wonderful template even for book pages!!!
Love this pocket so much! Another way to use it is to glue back side to the page and you will have fun flips to open. Also I usually keep inside center for journaling, then it is less bulky and this is a kind of spot for secret journaling.

Thanks Olga! Those are great ideas! 👍🏻😃❤️
Delighted to have found yout channel and website today!
I love this, all of it, just as is! Here is also a thought about the hinge. The trifold can be hinged farther in on the page, you don't have to hinge it on the edge of the signature. Play with it and see what you think. And I think your boo boo with the bottom edge of the half fold writing squares look really cute peeking out. It makes it look like the tuxedo has a double lapel. Very snazzy! Thank you for another great video!💗

This is awesome! I'm watching and making two of these, pursuing slightly different options in each one. I love the flexibility of being able to turn things inward or outward, etc. This is a very helpful video.
So beautiful!
Cute! No mistakes - only, variations!
Cute project! And, all of these collage videos you’ve been doing are helpful as I continue practicing. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

I'm rewatching your video. I already made several of these (using A4 paper for a 10*15cm journal) and I absolutely love them. I put them in the middle of the signature and then sewed the signature in the journal. You can make neutral ones and decorate once you know what you want to put inside... Thanks for the inspiration!
Love love this!!! Watching your vid while going thru a mag for collage and words.. Stopped, ripped out a page .. rewound you a bit and started folding!!! Have got 2 JJ’s in the planning stage... will deff be using this in both!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!! 😻💜

49dragonflies Barbara my thinking cap came on. What if you made like three or four of those pockets. Then on the left flap side sewed into a journal. Each trifold pocket would become the signature for a small journal. That would be so cool. ❤️

I really like these pockets. Like you demonstrated, there are so many options--they can be bulky or thinner, and you can stuff them full, or not. I made two while watching you that will go into two different Christmas journals I'm working on. Thanks for the always excellent videos!

Hey barbara! How are you DOING?I wasn’t able to catch up on Your videos since my aunt took me to a bookbinding Workshop here, and i had a great time in there! But i am finally back to have some potato chips and watch YOU create beaitiful vintage masterpieces!BTW,i know you are really talented and hardworking crafter/journal maker, but have you ever made a softcover journal or experienced using one? Bc i have been seeing johanna clough have been posting a couple of videos talking about her softcover journals, and i was really interested in that topic. But i Didn't really find much information by searching, and i thought commenting you about it,so you may help; But i think it will be so awesome if you do a video about it! ~loved your video about today 's topic, the end result turned out awesame! Please,do a video about it! Hugs and loves and best wishe, Alvina from nothing to say ♥♥♦♥♥♦♥♥♦ 😚😚😚😚😚😚😚😚😚 *Sorry about my broken English😬😬😬 i am still Learning

Wonderful project Barbara again 💕👍💕 I love it, not too hard and with great result. I was talking to you while watching 😁🤣😁 just fold that piece of triangle back, don't cut it..... when you were doing the triangle pocket with the music paper. If you fold your corner pockets in instead of cutting them off at the diagonal, it would give you a stronger pocket edge. Just a thought

Oooh, this is such a good idea! I'm using actual antique music, and it's already super thin. Having a reinforced edge will really help keep it from tearing, especially since it's a functional ite. Taking things out and putting them back in will take a toll. I think I'll also fold the top down and glue it, too.
I think you illustrated the making of this project better than the Rose lady....I’ve seen Angela’s, too, she explains the project well, too. Thanks for sharing..always enjoy your tutorials.....😻
