It wont help as much cause your still gonna have to eq the drum to get rid of frequencies you don't want and frequencies you want to keep and boost then add diablo on it. I understand what your saying though no cap.

Its pretty random for me to be honest its kinda based off of how i feel about the 808 and the kick along with melody if am on some dark vibe i want it to hit hard below zero dp but not too low
