Thanks for doing this! I got to see some of your guys work in St. Louis a while ago. I’ve been making screwdrivers obsessively since. Very cool!

Love these prop builds. They look so good! If I ever get around to doing a Fifth Doctor cosplay I'll absolutely have to order one of these to go with it! Also, have you considered doing one the original prop that Pertwee's screwdriver was built from? (i.e. the screwdriver prop from Thunderbirds Are GO!) I appreciate that one is a lot more niche and not as iconic but it'd be interesting to see it in the line up alongside it's Doctor Who counterparts.

That was fun to watch. Do any of the original screwdriver props still exist?

The Original Romana Sonic Screwdriver is currently the oldest known surviving sonic prop, the TV Movie 7th/8th Sonic is currently the oldest known Doctor used Sonic Screwdriver to still exist. Everything else is missing from the classic era new series wise most of them are still around.

As a fan of classic Doctor Who I must say they look beautiful however why would you not paint those details surely the tape will come up at some point I mean it's Kate it's not meant to be permanent but they do look gorgeous especially I made Tom Baker Sonic screwdriver guy. Very nice work good job.

We’ve just been faithful to the way the original prop was made. Where it used Tape, we used tape, without that it loses a certain charm the original had.

@@ScarecrowProps ohh well it wasn't a slight hello I was just curious why you use tape if they use tape then OK you use tape it looks great nonetheless but if it's gonna be handled by somebody and not just sit on the shelf and then you just might want to use something that preserves it better but that's just an opinion you still do great work so know that at least

@@CGRREDACTEDI didn’t take it as a slight don’t worry! Just keen to explain why we went that way, and yes very true, although paint will also wear down over time, tape is at least easier to replace if it was to come loose, but we haven’t had any come back yet, so they’ve got a decent life in them! But I do see your point.
