2 cups butter (4 sticks,16oz or 450g)
1 cup sugar (8oz, 225g)
6 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour (350g or 9oz)
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon salt(if not using salted butter)
3 teaspoons baking powder
