HOW TO MAKE THE PERFECT NIGERIAN SMOKY PARTY JOLLOF RICE/ PARTY PEPPERED CHICKEN/FRIED CHICKEN

In this video, I will show you how to make the perfect and most delicious Nigerian smoky party jollof rice using Basmati rice. I will also be showing you how to make party peppered fried Chicken. In Nigeria, a gathering cannot be considered a party until some smoky Nigerian jollof rice and peppered fried chicken has been served. At best such gathering without jollof rice and its accompanying peppered chicken can be referred to as a meeting. Also, there are levels to this dish called Jollof rice. While almost everyone can make jollof rice, not everyone can make smoky party Jollof rice. You get the difference? This video will show you how to get the perfect Nigerian smoky jollof rice every single time. The days of trial and error are over. Getting the perfect peppered fried chicken is also important as that will make your perfect Nigerian Jollof rice a lot more memorable to the eater.

Ingredients for the perfect Nigerian smoky party Jollof rice and Peppered Fried Chicken
4 tatashe
2 tomatoes
5 shombo
5 ata rodo
3 large onions
2 tinned tomatoes
Vegetable oil
2 teaspoons white pepper
2 teaspoons curry powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 teaspoons sazon seasoning
Chicken seasoning
3 bay leaves
Salt
4 cups basmati rice
1 green bell pepper
1 large tomato for slicing
1 onion for slicing
A knob of butter
Peppered Chicken
12 pieces chicken
1 Onion
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1tsp dried thyme
11/2 tsps curry powder
1 ½ tsp Sazon seasoning
Chicken seasoning powder
salt
3 bay leaves
Veg oil
1 onions for slicing
I teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
3 red bell pepper
6 shombos
5-6 atarodo
½ green bell pepper
½ red bell pepper
½ onions

    I normally pop my peppers in the oven for 5 mins after de-seeding them. That smoky flavour na anoda level. Ify your recipes and videos are wonderful!! 👍👍🙌

    9:33 - for smokiness, I put one burning piece of coal into a small metal container and place it in the pot, then I pour some ghee on the hot coal.
