Whenever I go to an authentic Mexican restaurant I will always order Horchata because It's one of my favorite drinks but this is hands down the best Horchata I have ever had in my life, thank you so much for the recipe!!

@@mariagamarro8210 I did this two nights ago and the rice never softened so I left it two whole days/ night and it’s still hard. I started over today and left it on my counter for 4 hours so far and it’s starting to soften 😮

@@thelma367 it doesn’t have to be soft to the touch, I literally left it for 8 hours and it wasn’t soft and it still taste amazing!

My nephew wanted agua de horchata. I personally don’t like horchata, but you are right, the rice and cinnamon do smell good together. Anyway, I followed your recipe, the only ingredient I didn’t have was the vanilla. I sent him a pitcher of horchata and he, his brothers and parents loved it. Thank you for this great recipe.
