I have a mind map that I want to use as a lead magnet more or less. So I want it to be available for others to see BUT NOT EDIT - VIEW ONLY. I know I can add people with their email addresses but then I have to manually do that and when I do EVERYONE I share it with sees the people I shared it with which is unacceptable. I just tried to do a Public link by copying the public URL. But when I do that the mind map is editable by ANYONE who has the public link. How can I have a public link that I can share that people can't edit and people can't see who I shared it with? Please help, this is driving me crazy.

Collaboration. LOL For those with no innate ability. LOL (But I LOVE the program; don't get me wrong. I've been organizing, scribbling, and thinking visually--on pads of paper--for 50+ years now. But ... MM takes my older/antiquated approach to a whole new level.) **** For those of us who are solo entrepreneurs, MUCH of this video is non-essential. We don't create agendas, we don't collaborate, etc. Too, though presented in English, there are very odd phrases and words used--such as "Tablulator," which I assume we in the U.S. know as the Tab key. And so on. And the presentation--for my money--is laboriously slow. 'Too much deferment, qualification, etc. You know--just TELL US what you want to tell us. But that's just me. I guess I value my time too much to sit through a mind-numbingly slow presentation or video. It's the same reason I'd just pick up a BOOK on CSS, say, and plow through the entire thing in a week as opposed to taking a course at the local community college over several months. "Lowest common denominator" might be one way expressing the approach utilized here. (IMO)

Question: I am looking at upgrading from the windows free version to the pro version. I will I have to also pay for the iphone/ipad upgrade to be able to access my mindmaps on my iOS device?

Hi Andy, no you'll be able to access your maps on mobile as well. However, please note that the editing function on mobile won't be available before late 2022/early 2023. Best, David

Hi. Is there a way to save styles and apply them to other items?

Hi Milad, currently it's not possible to save styles. However, our we are planning to release so-called "Custom Themes" at the end of the year. This will give you the ability to save your own themes to apply them to other maps. Hope this helps! Kind regards, David

@@mindmeister Thank you for your response and attention to this matter. Surely this can be useful for many users. If possible, please consider the Tahma font for Persian, Arabic, etc. characters to make the mindmaps more beautiful.

​@@mindmeister And there is another problem that exists, and I forgot to mention it. That it is very difficult to select multiple objects. Almost all sites like MindMeister allow you to select multiple objects with click in page and drag and drop the mouse. But in MindMeister, by clicking on the page and moving the mouse curser, our workspace moves. Correcting this item will also lead to the happiness and convenience of users when using MindMeister.

​@@mindmeister Hey again David. Unfortunately for me, like the gif in that link, holding the alt has no effect and instead of selecting objects, the screen moves. I am a Windows user.

CAn you share folder content with others. created a folder but can't seem to add other members

Hi Reg, Unfortunately, sharing folders is currently not possible. Only maps.

Are more than one "rootparent" nodes possible in the same map? THanks

Hi, that's not possible. You can only creat on root topic. However, you can can also add a free-floating topic separate of that.
