I think not having Zuko return home hurts his development. A big part of it was him realizing that his father’s love isn’t what he wanted which leads him to choose the right path

just hope that they dont add sex scenes, i know a lot of people who arent going to watch it if they do, literally no point of adding them other than wanting to sexualise well written characters that have been a part of many peoples childhoods

Your writing ideas are always great. I think this is the way to go - bold enough changes to be more of an alternate version / homage than a crappy remake with sacrifices.

What if they make a animation movie of the aftermath of defeating the firelord and focus on how the fire nation is now viewed by the world and the conflicts that goes into regaining their trust again after the years of suffering they went through? With that the goal could be for Zuko and the team to set out to different parts of the world most effected by the previous fire lord and make amends and establishing new connections. Though it's just an idea since we haven't really seen the process of how republic city was formed and how the world forgave the fire nation.

I always love the way you think through things. I love your version and it would most definitely do better than shamalon version, especially if they aged up the characters. With the recent failure of the Mulan Live Action Film, they should most definitely focus on the martial arts & culture as well, especially because each bending style was based on a different martial arts style. The idea of a rebellion is amazing. One of my personal favorite episodes was the rebellion from Omashu, seeing as it worked very well, focusing on how violence wasn't always necessary in war. Also the idea for the kyoshi warriors being helpless women in the daytime and like ninja's during the nighttime doing sabotage is a really cool idea. Gathering uneasy citzens, like the one village of earthbenders under rule of firebenders, or the "airbenders" in the abandoned air temple. Maybe at one point there might be a blue spirit without it being zuko, maybe the bounty hunter could fit in. who knows, but you're on the right track when you say adaptations ARE SUPPOSED TO BRING SOMETHING! It's rare for an adaptation to be really good, and I've only seen ONE MOVIE that is BARELY better than the book. ONE!!! (BTW it's "The One and Only Ivan") Also, one character that is the signature comedy in the show is the man who screams about his cabbages. ("My Cabbages!") And Honestly, if they wanted to keep the original story, they could just take the comic that takes place after the series and make IT. That is something a lot of fans could reaaaallyyyyyy like.

I agree with most of this. Though I'd personally cut episodes like Bato of the Water Tribe, The Swamp, The Drill, Ember Island Players and of course The Great Divide. Not necessarily because they're bad episodes (though I think some episodes were pretty weak), but because we don't really need them. I'd start with episodes that were essential to the story and everything else would be fair game. I'd likely leave a few in for character development purposes, but I'd be careful where to place them as to not disrupt the flow of the story.

But the drill is the first time that Aang loses to Azula, so even tho it’s not as important to the main plot, it’s still important for Aang’s journey and character development

For a minute I forgot I wasn’t watching a trailer or someone just explaining the differences between the shows and I actually got pretty excited. I was like yes I will watch this with these changes it’s like a live action canon-compliant au. And then I was abruptly pulled back down to earth and I teared up because oh yeah, this is a project driven by money not the desire to tell a good story and now I’m sad again but I like your ideas

I think you have a good idea here, but maybe you misunderstood zuko exile in the original (or I'm reading too far into what you said). Ozai's mandate that he should capture the avatar was supposed to be a permanent exile for zuko. At that point the avatar had been missing for 100 years there's no reason to suspect he's even around. It was a snipe hunt

Thank you for your comment. I didn't go into full detail because of length and relevance, but I would like to have Zuko realize how his view of his father is completely built on his adoration of the man rather than his actions. I get that the Avatar hunt was a fool's errand, but he ultimately kept his word when Zuko "killed" the Avatar. I would have an Ozi that didn't care at all about what Zuko accomplished because he's already written him off as useless. I hope that clears that point up, because you are right about Ozi

This could work, i dont think it whould be better than the original but this can work if done properly, another change i whould like is to limit the amount of benders, its still integrated into the world but its extremely rare and only few can do it, i can imagine that the fire nation has about 200 - 250 fire benders, the earth kingdom to have 150 - 200 earth benders and the water tribes (northern to be specific) to have about 100 - 150 water benders, since bending is much more unique then not only will the bender vs bender fights feel more special and exciting due to their rarity but they can save up on the budget since most people whouldnt be benders

So make it like star wars?

Unlike a lot of people, I was wishing that someone else would be at the helm because I would like to see some serious polishing of the show. There are things I'd love to see explored more and things that should be tossed out.

The only problem with this kind of video (like the ladybug one) is that now i want something that will never happen. i love your writting ideas and want to see more videos like this
