Love the video. Something that would be interesting is the highest and lowest possibilities of your hand. That would help in certain situations, like I need to swing for the fences to go out before my opponent.

About an hour ago I got a 28. I had never seen or heard of it. I imagine that I will never see one again.

Four 5s and a 10 cut card is 28 but if you had 555J and the 5 cut card suit matched your J, you'd get 29 points.

    I’ve had a 28 but I have never had a 29. Or a 19.

Loved the statistical analysis in this. It's exactly what I was looking for to help gain a strategic edge at my skill level. I didn't like how at the beginning it asked what two cards you would discard to the opponent's crib, then the first statistically optimal answer involved discarding to your crib. My initial decision was to discard the two aces to the opponent. Discarding the J5 to your own crib should be obvious. Thanks for creating this.

I'm just learning. How do you have 6 points in 15s at 5:21? If the starter card is an Ace and you discarded the 15, how is it worth anything to you if you don't have the crib? Sorry, that's confusing me.

This step is calculating the average hand value for A-A-7-7. This is done by calculating what A-A-7-7 would be worth, for each possible cut/flipped card, from A, 2, 3, etc... to K. So holding A-A-7-7, with an A cut, would be worth 14 points: 7-7-A = 15 for 2 points 7-7-A = 15 for 2 points 7-7-A = 15 for 2 points 7-7-7 = 3-of-a- kind for 6 points A-A = Pair for 2 points Thanks for watching.

@@Cribbage_with_J Thank you, I was thinking only of the 5 - 10. That is why my game suffers. Appreciate it. I have to be better at counting my card combinations.
