How to make the best Creamy Churro Cheesecake Bars

Welcome to Pimentel Delights channel! Learn how to make the best creamy churro cheesecake bars!
Here are the ingredients you will need:
2- 8 oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese (room temperature)
2- Pillsbury Crescent Dough Sheet
1 large egg
1 cup of sugar
2 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tsp of vanilla
1- 14 oz Nestle La Lechera (sweetened condensed milk)
9” by 13” baking dish
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 32 minutes or until well baked. All ovens are different so adjust time to yours.

I made these last night and it came out amazing! Here’s what I did different... I used a disposable baking tin. At the bottom of the baking tin I added thin pieces of salted butter bits, then sprinkled the cinnamon sugar over that. I also made my own homemade crescent dinner dough I found via google search, it had to be proofed at least 2 hours is best. I did not alter this cream cheese filling recipe, I made it as-is and actually I was only here for the cream cheese recipe. I will say, this was the best cream cheese filling for this dessert ever. That can of condensed milk worried me at first but ended up so good!

Helllo! about how long does it take to cool at room temperature? can I skip this and put straight in fridge or does it mess with consistency?

We never have and don’t think you need it but feel free to experiment if you wish.
Do you not add any cooking spray or butter to the pan?

No we do not. The bars easily come out of tray.

Yes! We had another follower do it for 40 minutes and she said it was perfect. All ovens are different so adjusting the time is recommended.

12-15 depending on how big or small you cut.
How is the dough after you put it in the oven

The crescent rolls are raw and creamy filling when we place it in the oven.

@@lauravivo6144 we allow the churro cheesecake to cool off completely then place in fridge. The dough should not be crispy. It’s a soft bite and combines perfectly with everything. Hope this helps.
Looks yummy with it but it must be reallyyy sweet with the condensed milk😭 I’ve made some w/o it and it’s already super sweet. This is the first recipe I’ve seen someone using sweetened condensed milk with sugar

Christina Phan it’s perfect for us and we don’t look too extreme sweet. Yeah the beauty of this is that you can tailor to your likings. Just remove the sweetened condense milk and still super delicious.

Pimentel Delights I might have to try it soon though! Maybe I can take out the sugar or put less and add condensed milk :) I also don’t like things that are too sweet. I’ve had customers tell me mine aren’t extremely sweet and that’s how they like it too :)

Yes or we’d say 1 cup and you can also add pumpkin pie spice.

Half a cup of sugar in the cheesecake mix. The other half cup of sugar u mix it with cinnamon.
On your video you state 1/2 cup of sugar your transcript has 1 cup For vanilla you say 1 teaspoon but notes it has 1 tablespoon just confused 😕

Hi, in the description it does state 1 tsp of vanilla. That is correct. You can add more vanilla if you wish.

As far as the sugar, it is a total of 1 cup. The first 1/2 cup will go in the mixture and the other 1/2 will be split with the cinnamon. Please see video 1:47 of how we split the last 1/2 cup sugar (1/4 cup + 1 tbsp cinnamon) for the bottom and top filling. Hope this helps.
