After several failed attempts at menudo that can’t even come close to my husband’s grandmother’s menudo this is IT! He said it was as good if not better than hers and he will never have to go to a restaurant for menudo again! Thank you!!

Dear Claudia, I love to see that you're so young and have taken to traditional Mexican foods. when I was your age I could barely boil water! let alone make Menudo! goodness girl, you got it going. I'm now in my 50's and do cook, but I was always very nervous making Menudo, but for the first time last year, I made Menudo! Go figure! was still nervous but under the watchful eye of my mother. I caught you on KZread by accident surfing the site of food, and there you were, I've taken some of your tips for Menudo, that I will implement this year. 9-19-20 Hi from Grantsboro, North Carolina. I'm a transplanted Tex-Mex (35 years here). I've been cooking menudo for years, but never made it like mom in San Antonio. The ingredients were interesting, I've never considered apple cider vinegar or using the dried chili's. I only use the dried chili's in my tamales. Yes, I cook everyday for me and my girlfriend. Excellent video production. I've made a couple of cooking video's for KZread, but only used my phone. I'm subscribed... oh! and your recipe is now in my recipe box! OooOOoO!!! Im excited to make this!! I made your caldo de pollo last week and I have to say I really enjoyed using ACV to help with the smell And tenderizing of the pollo, ive never tried that before...the pollo really did become softer AND even stayed tender for Day 3 of leftovers. I noticed the texture difference right away and will deff be using that method for other meats. Muchas gracias senorita your recipes are BOMBBB !!!! ❤

Menudo is Medicine. I Was raised on homemade menudo growing up in the late 80s and 90s my Grandma would make a gigantic pot for the whole family. This recipe looks perfect. I need to try this one this coming fall when the weather gets colder in Northern California. Great Video thanks a bunch for this easy recipe. 🍲 🌶 🍋 👌🏽

Wow i mustve missed this recipe months ago...but i must say ive never had menudo with hominy in it..nor knew a few of the cooking techniques...n also we eat menudo with freshly made corn tortillas never seen it eaten with pan tostado.🤔love how theres always a variety of ways to serve a dish & learn different ways to make certain recipes...tfs

Nissa M My husband only eats menudo with corn tortillas..His family toasts the bread but instead of butter, they put mayo..It’s a no for me..

It's okay with tortillas but it's way better with pan bolillo. And definitely no cilantro. That just kills the taste.
