I’ve been contemplating on making mg own koobi for a while now. I love how you just used the regular salt here. I was stressing myself about getting that granulated/sea salt. It’s been quite hot here. I need to take advantage of the weather and make my own. I love all the tips you gave too. That fish is solid hard like cupboard. Perfect koobi. 🐟

Hello, Hello pretty lady, I am from Jamaica and I have been following you for a little while and I decided I am gonna make your koobi, it came out real good, but I didn’t get to enjoy it, my mother ate all 6 of my fish, and she said it was oh so good, but I cheated and didn’t tell her this is a way of preserving fish from Ghana, keep up the good work Ms Adjeley

I did the same at home during the winter season, it dried very well but it's still had the fresh tilapia scent. I want to know if it because there was not enough sun or what the problem was

@JOYCE STYLE OF COOKING It's not only more expensive in the shops, but also, there are rumours that, some people use chemicals in dehydrating the tilapia, chemicals that can cause cancer. Also, some shops keep food in rat infested shops or storage, and other unhygienic conditions. Eating food that it's likely rats have urinated or defecated on, can cause various health issues including liver disease.
