Is it easy to remove the crust from the mold?did u put oil/grease the mold before putting the crust?

I ran out of butter once and guess how I made it. I had a box of pancake mix that we rarely eat. I had the thought to make pie shells or these with it. I added a little sugar and water but alot less water then for the pancakes until I got a doughy texture like in this video. Rolled it out, put in a pie pan and molded the sides with my fingers. One of thee best pie shells I ever had and only needed water truthfully. We add sugar to these crusts but don't really need to because the filling for shells and pies are already sweet enough. I will try this one, one day though. Just mentioning, the pancake mix for a cheaper option to keep on hand. They sell for like $2.00 a box! All the ingredients are already in it. Can even make pizza dough with it and requires no margarine or butter.

Do you have to grease the tart molds prior to using them? How easy is it to remove the tart shells after baking without them cracking,?
