My Mother, Belgian, incredible cook.....Would make me these and put jam inside. Simply go ahead and make similar without the cheese. Then put it under the broiler to cook and firm the upper fluffy part. Then put a light layer of jam on one side, then fold over...yummy, especially for a young kid..

Delicious, I just put this mixture into buttered, sprinkled with cheese, 6 oz ramekins and baked at 400 F for 10 minutes but they over-cooked yet still tasted delicious. Will make them often with different cheeses and less cooking time. I got to eat 2 ramekins! Subscribed.
I'm gonna try to make this for my grandpa for dinner. I'll edit this comment when it's done! Edit: It went good :) I added a little too much salt, but next time I'll make it even better! Otherwise, it was really great

Made this, and God it was so good. For anyone thinking of making this, I'd like to let you know that it actually has more of sweet flavor, balanced out by a bit of salt. I'd also suggest using a handheld or stand mixer instead of making the meringue by hand.

A technique for separating egg yolk and white Is cracking it in half and keep the egg in one half of the shell and spill it into the other Also be careful with some eggs because the yolk inside leaks out

Hi! Thanks for watching. Im not sure how hot your stove is but my advise is to go slow and low so omelette has time to cook evenly, the best time for it to cook is 3-4 minutes when the bottom part turns light brown and the sides of the omelette are not sticking to the pan. I hope this helps!

Good question! If you have an egg yolk separator then room temp is fine. But if you dont then refrigerated eggs would make it easier for you to separate them.

@@annakent2114 hey! i didn't read the rest of the message. hmmmm my favourite holiday destination would be tokyo, japan, though i think i would have enjoyed the provinces there. if I'm able to travel in these times i think i would go to a nice beach like Palawan, Philippines. Dobos Torte! sure I would definitely consider making it, thank you for the suggestion! Depends on how your gonna make your omelette if you want it easy i guess a big pan.
Nice and simple (though whipping by hand takes a while), but mine deflates.

you can use a mixer if you have one. soufflé omelette eventually deflates with time. it should hold its fluffiness for about 2 minutes

It really varies on how fast you beat and if you do it continuously, mine ranges from 5-10 mins. Thanks for watching

I just made it I put to much sugar by accident but it would be amazing if I didnt add that much sugar
Currently mixing the egg whites. This is check in 1. So far super bubbly but not the correct consistency.
Mine broke when I folded it. Not sure what I did wrong. Maybe let it steam too long.
It was fine until I came to the part where the mix needed to be a thick consistency because I mixed a lot and it didn’t become thick so I cooked it normal and it was a tad puffier then normal I would say it was a pretty good recipe

hi! You could add ham before folding. it just might not be as fluffy as this one because of the added weight but still delicious!

I do like this but its like a normal egg
Made it and it was too shallow. No density no substance, no tasre. Until i loaded it with real cheese, country ham, avocado, artichokey hearts & salsa on top. Yummo! Lovely healthy rounded orange yolks, not USA's wimpy pale ones that flatten out & leak.
You will fart from the air but nice anyway
