I'm gonna make these for the kids I babysit. The 4-year-old girl and 7-year-old boy both love tea parties. Last time, we had one with real tea and real milk in the toy tea set, and they wanted sugar cubes but I didn't have any. This should be great.

I was in the kitchen and my mom has the salt and sugar in these jar things that look the same . I was trying to make it . I got confused and didn't think about tasting it to see which is which, so I accidently used salt instead of sugar . Then I showed my mom that I made sugar cubes . She put some in her tea . Next thing I know, I end up with my clothes full of tea . She got mad at me because she thought I did it on purpose....

I actually made this in less than one hour.. Heres how! First get 4 tsp of sugar then add a small amount of water. Then heat it in the microwave for 1-2 minutes and then mix them. It might look like an absoulute waste but there will be little sugar clumps there! If theyre a quadrilateral or triangle etc just cut it! Its really nice and simple :D

I have always wanted sugar cubes and now I can make them!!!!

@@gollycom most horses love sugar cubes because, well, they're sweet. Sugar cubes can be fed to horses but only as an occasional treat.

A packet of sugar will make 5 times the sugar used in the sugar cubes. Out here in Australia sugar cubes cost around $4-$5 for 400 grams. You can buy the same sugar for less than $2 & you get 2KG so it's much much cheaper. It would cost me $20-$25 for the cubes or the 2KG of sugar :D

You're a life saver Aussie man! Thank you so much! I am so happy I stumbled upon your channel.. I have been wanting to make sugar cubes for ages, but I just didn't exactly know how. I had an idea of how to make them, just not the logistics. Anyway, I will definitely make these, and as a heads up to anyone else wanting to make some sugar cubes, you can flavour your cubes with vanilla beans, and/or vanilla extract, and probably any other flavour you'd like. I saw someone present flavoured sugar cubes on their blog. :) thanks again Aussie man!

Slightly easiest way to compress the sugar if you have two containers (loaf pans, cookie sheets, etc) of same size is to put waxed paper over the sugar then press it with the second pan. Could use small cookie cutters or molds to make it into fun shapes for holidays, events, gifts, etc.

i dont know how to bake a cake or something for shit, but this stuff is like so amazingly simple, i never did one of them but most of your projects take like a max of 2 hours of your time instead of the normal instruction videos that take like 5 hours in total time, or even overnight waiting for making something. you make great vids and you are funny too, subbed.
