Denting your gas tank for stunt riding is a common modification used for tricks on bikes. It helps lock the rider in on wheelies, lets them stand on their fuel tank, and just looks cool! HTMoto traction pad helps to give a soft, yet firm, feel to the dented tank. The quick steel used in this video helps to repair cracks in the tank and reinforce other parts. Good sticky motorbike tires such as Michelin or Dunlop tires and good brake pads are a must have. Motorcycle riding should be taken seriously, always wear proper protective gear including a riding helmet, motorcycle insurance, good tires inflated to proper p.s.i. A motorcycle specialist should do all motor maintenance and repairs on the bike, suspension, and parts.

phone book and BFH will be ur best freind when doing a tank dent. The phone book distributes the force of the hammer equally and also helps with lessening the chance of getting creases. This helps when starting the dent.. just a lil tip that might help some people out when doing this

Most just modify the stock tank, like cut the top off and do some welding to make it to desired shape.

Hey Brian, when you do the gas cap with the rubber cover, can you take the gas cap out and mold the rubber in to the tank and hold it down with the gas cap when you screw it back down or that's just not possible?
