Brakes fading out on you in a wheelie or at the race track is one of the worst things that can happen to a motorcyclist. The brake fluid, brake lines, master cylinder, rotors, and calipers all play into how fast or slow your bikes brakes heat up! You should always wear protective riding gear when learning a new trick including, a DOT approved helmet, riding gloves, Kevlar jeans, motorcycle jacket, and ankle high rider's shoes. Tires also should be at the proper PSI to ensure good traction to the ground.
About Brian 636- Riding motorcycles, sport bikes, Harley Davidson or anything on two wheels is what I love to do. Explaining how to wheelie, stoppie, drift or how to do burnouts on your bike, is what I love to do! Riding wheelies, racing, stunt rides, drifting, motorcycle stunts, or street riding, evertime I ride any kind of bike, it makes me feel alive. Currently stunting on a 2004 636 Kawasaki Ninja street bike, a 2009 Harley Nightster 1200, and a Honda Grom!
If you like cool motovlogs and a fun new taste on the sport bike scene, you have come to the right channel for all you motorcycle questions and how to videos! Being a motovlogger that pushes the limits on stunt riding and bikes is all part of the lifestyle!

Hell yeah I was wondering what I could do more to prevent it cause I do still ride that break. I almost ran into you when that mishap happened. So moral is bigger rotors, brimbo, motol break fluid and use less break and master throttle control!

New pads can do a lot, too. I would def do pads before a new rotor or master cylinder. I usually do it before SS lines, too
@brian636

That is true but when the pads are new and the fluid or commpents are junk, it doesntt really matter you know?? Much love dude
@beanwithbaconmegarocket

On a couple diff bikes I've tested (FZ1 and R3), just with new pads on the stock brake system there was big increase in stopping power and slight improvement in brake fade at the track. You def want to do fluid and lines ASAP tho. Cheers bro
i new a guy that made his own rear break caliper and made o cool grove in it for is engine coolant so it would heat up but not get warmer then 80c
break fade is when the break fluid starts to boil so you get air in the system and air can be compressed so the break fades
Brake fade made me look dumb af recently. Love it
Hey brian, So which offroad forum you been checking out? I click the link etc but just sends me to google play which i already have downloaded the app? I think it's amazing jumping a 400 plus pound bike off the flat ground like a BMX bike
Best way is to separate your calipers if you're running duals or remove the single piston and hone the cylinder. Clean and polish the piston and replace the internal rubber seals as well to insure no air can get by the seal (catching air bubbles suck lol) and when its assembled on the bike, I like to tilt the whole assembly at 12 o clock and bleed it with a vacuum hand pump. Ziptie the handbrake lever to your bar overnight to allow any air bubbles to rise to the top. (Pressurized fluid forces air upward) This is along with what brian mentioned is the best way to iron out your brake setup.
@brian636

You prefer 600 or 660?? Youd think 660 is better than 600, ive heard 660 attracts moisture and needs to be changed more than 600? Motul is the #1 in ultra high performance lubricants.
