    its a shame this video has such low views. if this was some bullshit video with alot of animated cuts. it would have gone viral. but gen z dont have a attention span of more than 10-30secs sadly. i really appreciate this video. i might be building one for myself.

    I am glad you made this. I like the execution. I also really appreciate using what you have instead of buying the best of what is available. It shows wisdom and discernment, and it shows creativity. I use that to question when someone says I have to do something, or I must use this part. I know better and I try to do better. I wish the same. It doesn't matter how far you get or when you start, it just matters that you try and try well. That is a great thing. I personally, have had designers brain freeze about this project like yours. I will use this for my project and in other things moving forward. It. Is. Helpful. I hope I may pass information onto others as well

    What if, you use for the locking system an square metal nail inside a square metal rail, and then it clips into an square form (where you use the shelf crossbeam). it will reduce the tolerances and hopefully increase the stability. I know that they use the square form for the locking mechanisms in industrial shelfs for big warehouses.

    Hmm actually the only important thing that you need to make this desk is the sliders and that metal bars with holes. And you can use any wood to build it

    I can add actuators to automatically raise the desk. I will add it in future video

  • @syncwork

    @syncwork

    @@DInfiniteProject I feel that has both pros and con.. The mechanism you currently have gives quick change to height with that spring thing... if you add the actuator, first it become costly, and second it become slow to adjust height. I don't have height adjustable desk, but i believe an individual would only keep the desk height in 1-2 level..

    @@DInfiniteProject One idea, i was just looking for office chair... i just got a thought that why can't we use gas cylinder that is used to lift chair... to lift the table. The gas cylinder on chair is capable of lifting the chair while we're sitting. It is also called as 'Power Hydraulic Gas Lift"

    It's stronger and more stable and secure. If you had one slider only the whole adjustment would depend on one slider only. But with two, there is no possibility that when you move up or down that it will fall immediately. It's for support
