How to make shower steamers with a mooncake press

I just love this cloud shaped mooncake press! It’s so durable, easy to use and fast. Watch this video and follow along as I make these shower steamers or shower bombs from scratch. The ingredients are so simple! Just baking soda, citric acid and essential oils. Shower steamers are a great alternative for those who don’t have baths. They create a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere and aromatherapy when the water and steam activate the essential oils. The perfect way to end or begin a long day. Shower steamers make great gifts or treats for yourself.

    I like that you don't use kaolin clay. Apparently the clay can clog pipes over time.

    Hello! When you sell these on Etsy, do you keep them in stock or make them fresh per order? My concern is the scent fading over time.

    I just did this for the first time and as they dried they really spread out. Is that because I used to many sprays of witch hazel? Thank you, you are awesome!

  • @TyarsEssentials

    @TyarsEssentials

    Thank you! Try again using less witch hazel. Sometimes it only may take one spray depending on your humidity. Mix it in really good by kneading it. And, keep trying, you’ll find the perfect balance. 😉

    It helps to keep the steamer from absorbing moisture in the air. From expanding and reacting.
