The Shape of Water is one of my favorite Guillermo del Toro movies.

Looks pretty cool. He looks more like the creature from “The Shape of Water” but to each their own. Still a awesome diorama

I have nothing but respect for your "Old-School," wire / aluminum foil armature-for-Polymer clay sculpting methods. Even in this day and age of 3D Printing, sometimes the old, traditional ways are still the best! I have no idea who the figure is you chose for this diorama, but it surprises me that with your amazing skills, that you didn't make an original sculpt for this figure, too. In any event, this is excellent work!

I do both sculpting and 3d printing, which I like to do both traditional and non traditional. Which I wonder if I should post that on my channel... 🤔 I don't but that made me think. But sculpting with clay and wire and foil are so nice to work with.

Beautiful! The Creature is amazing! In some dioramas, the characters are created from a machine. I like to watch the skill shown in making one by hand.

Your group never fails to impress. The creature is amazing in both the sculpting and the painting. Well done.

It looks more like the amphibian man from Shape of Water than the gill man from CFTBL. Not a bad thing cuz thats also a good movie, and the diorama is amazing, amazing sculpting skills!

This laser machine is really powerful. I have only used 5-10% of its capabilities. I will definitely explore more of its power in the near future. If you do DIY, I think you will need it.

Interpretation and inspiration are allowable I would think. We were all raised on those beautifully inspired Universal monsters.

Plot twist: he lives there, that's his girlfriend, and the one in danger is him because she's about to catch him sneaking in late from playing poker with his cousin Abe Sapien and their friend Hellboy.

I like the use of the Nami figurine.

Not very Creature from the Black Lagoon, more like Abe from Hellboy, or the creature from Shape of Water. So much love went into this, from the creature itself to the all the signs and tools and everything, you put a lot into this! It's an amazing creation!

what material did you use to make the lily pads? Is that Warbla or some other kind of thermoplastic or a paper material?

Interesting take on the Gill Man, he looks at bit like The Abe Sapien from Hellboy

Terrific diorama, I have a little trouble with the fleshcolor of the chin, makes it look like a mask. I'm a fan of the original monster, still have the original plastic model from Aurora.

So this is just the beginning of a date night for the two of them. 😁👍 Very nicely done. (even though your vid title is deceiving) I'm not really up on Anime, but my guess would be she's from one of the more popular stories.

Let me explain to you. Director Del Toro built the work from the monster movie Creature from the Black Lagoon from the monster's perspective. That's why I used this title, and I never had the thought of deceiving my audience. The girl you see is Nami (one piece) I can definitely sculpt a girl, but I didn't choose that normal way, I used an old figure of mine to create a theme for us to see. can chat like now

I like the design of the Gillman, mostly how I think of it it's like a humanoid fish or dunkleosteus head.

I love all the detail but you can definitely tell the figure of the woman is a completely different style from the rest of the diorama and for me it threw off the vibe because of her more anime looking features.

이 생명체를 사납게 만들지 않았습니다. 영화 '셰이프 오브 워터'에 나오는 캐릭터의 성격을 그대로 유지하고 싶었기 때문입니다. 이렇게 아름다운 소녀에게 화를 낼 수는 없다고 생각했어요
