Be very careful if you want to reuse the motor!! It might happen that you break the copper wire where it is connected at the collector! (happened to me once!)

your method usually works very well, but i have a motor which had the gear so stuck that i broke the motor (something inside now does not allow the motor to move)...it was so stuck and i've also heated up the gear so that it gets larger than the axle, but it did not work...that aliexpress 550 brushed motor made me go crazy

just heat the pinion little bit and then you can take it off easily

Is that pinion glued on to the shaft? Is that why heat can take it off.

Some are applied with heat and shrinks itself in place while cooling, some shafts have grooved tips and are placed with a drop of clear high temp lock tight. Either way heating it will remove it.

How did you get the back piece off

I just heated the geat with a torch and plyers pulled right off. Cooled with a cup of moter oil.

Does bro have 2 pieces of wood held together with electrical tape??

How to fix gear not turning with shaft of the dc motor just the motor turn and the gear not it id fit on the shaft but it spin on the shaft without the axe of the motor turning

it work you need to hit it with a 3lb hammer like a man i just did it on my bed with wards master 4 inch vise korea pilers and a harbor freight 3lb engineers hammer (sledge)
